Strafe for DH, why people hate it so much?

Everytime I mention I use strafe i am being told that multishot is better, why? ( I dont like to stop to use my skill)

I dont use sets, I use LoD. 

So why the Strafe Hate? I am very curious

It's not hate, numerically, Multishot gets better multipliers (and deals better damage because of that) than Strafe. (Maybe a Hellcat/Grenadier build can compete).

At the end of the day, it's up to you what you want to play, if you enjoy whirling around shooting everything, do that. But Strafe is really out of meta, so don't be surpised if you won't get invites.
