      The Horde Warcraft 2 campaign Chronicles of War has been recreated in Warcraft 3 Reforged by the LoreCraft team!
      The fan project has been in the making for more than 3 years and now the LoreCraft team has released the mod that you can download at Hiveworkshop.
      The campaign is available for those who purchased a copy of Warcraft 3 Reforged.
      The authors also created a launch trailer for the campaign that you can watch below.

      Blizzard is currently testing Patch 1.3.5 for Warcraft 3: Reforged on the PTR and here are the official patch notes.

      Today, we applied Build 19836 to the PTR, which we intend to be our final iteration on balance for 1.35.
      The Warcraft III development team is now focused on bug fixing.
      Please keep in mind that when patch 1.35 goes live, all ladder ranks will be reset for the new season and players will play their placement matches.

      Ghoul Frenzy now adds 30HP to ghouls’ base health. Anti-Magic Shield can now receive the same summon magic damage inflicted by dispel, purge, and abolish magic.       Wand of Mana increases mana steal from 50 to 75. Circlet stats reduced from +2 to all stats to 1/1/2 but players can click to toggle the item to add an additional 1 stat to any attribute. Fixed an issue where if you zoomed out too far on specific maps the player would lose visibility. Can now view other players’ profiles from arranged match history. Fixed an issue where quitting a singleplayer game sends the player to the load saved games. Fixed an issue where saving a custom campaign resets string data. Fixed an issue with custom campaign loading screen text being misaligned. Fixed an issue where the custom game list names bleed into the ping category. Fixed an issue where the editor would crash upon saving a campaign without a map opened. Fixed an issue where the world editor would crash when editing the damage/defense table. Removed the character requirement for report description. Fixed an issue where clan ranks were visually displayed incorrectly. Added notification indicator when receiving a social request. Player Profile: Viewing another player’s profile would occasionally display that they are a member of your clan even if they are not. Prevented loading of custom campaigns named the same as official campaigns to prevent save stomping.       It’s been some time since we’ve provided an update on Warcraft III: Reforged. Many of you have asked for us to support some of the features which were a part of the original Warcraft III experience. We’re pleased to announce that our upcoming patch 1.33.0 will include Ranked Play, Player Profiles, Leaderboards, and a few additional updates. You can read the patch notes to learn more.
      We plan to continue to work on delivering multiple updates this year, but rather than simply telling you, we plan to show you. Keep an eye out on the official Warcraft III: Reforged site to stay on top of the latest developments as we continue to move forward.

      Hello Warcraft III: Reforged players,
      We’ve recently begun public testing of our next update to Warcraft III: Reforged – version 1.33.0. This update focuses on three features: Ranked Play, Leaderboards, and Player Profiles. We expect to test the new version for 2-3 weeks to gather data, receive feedback from testers, and stress-test the new systems. Thank you very much for testing this patch with us!

      Warcraft III: Reforged Patch Notes
      Version 1.33.0
      Ranked Play
      Players may now choose between Ranked and Unranked Play. Seasons are now available. When a Season ends, the ladder will reset, and players will be able to see their history via their Profile and the Leaderboards. Your matchmaking rating (MMR) is unique for race, including Random. To be placed, players must play 5 placement matches per race. After playing a Ranked Match, you’ll be taken to a post-game screen which will display your MMR change and rankings. The available Ranks are: Unranked Combatant Challenger Rival Duelist Elite Gladiator Champion Leaderboards
      Players can now view their rank in the Leaderboard section, which can be accessed from the Versus screen. In the Leaderboard, you can filter by user-names, and sort between race and mode. Player Profiles
      You can now access your profile by right-clicking on the player icon at the bottom-right corner of the screen. Access other players’ profiles by right-clicking on their name and selecting “View Profile”. Reforged Campaign
      Numerous tuning and balance adjustments have been made to multiple campaign maps.

      It seems WarCraft 3: Reforged is getting quite a lot of attention recently, as after the WC2 remake mod we now also have a WC3 re-remake! Many weren't pleased with Blizzard's treatment of the classic RTS game that basically eventually gave us WoW, so some fans are re-reforging it! The focus of this particular project is on the cinematics, namely making them look more like the BlizzCon 2018 Culling of Stratholme one we saw, but there's also a lot of work on the maps and units themselves, AI, balance and more.
      You can already download and play the first 3 missions of the Chasing Visions prologue campaign, and you can download them here (but need WC3: Reforged to play). Check out the videos below and the FAQ for more info.

      Campaign
      The score screen for campaign missions now accurately displays time elapsed during that mission. Custom Games
      Fixed an issue that was causing default loading screen text to display on custom loading screens. Fixed an issue in the user interface during Custom Games creation that caused the IME indicator to not display. Gameplay
      Fixed a desync that occurred when a player in Classic mode and a player in Reforged mode were in a game with a unit that is both bloodlusted and hexed or polymorphed. Fixed an issue where Anasterian Sunstrider would sometimes use Death Knight Arthas’s model in Reforged mode. Versus
      Frost Wyrm illusion auto attacks no longer apply the frost breath passive. Developers’ notes: Having illusions apply a slowing effect on auto attack was unintentionally added recently. This fix shouldn’t have much effect on balance overall. User Interface
      Music on the score screen now only plays once.
