wow World-Wide Shadowlands Mount Poll Stats (US, EU, China): We Have a Winner + Art

We're just about one day away from the closing of the poll for the new Shadowlands mount players will receive for free and the results are looking pretty definitive! We already took a look at the stats for the US servers a few days ago and now we're going global, with today's numbers for the EU, China and updated US ones as well! A whole lot of people voted globally, with just under 93,000 for the EU, and over 150,000 for the US (we don't have the totals for China as their poll site is different).

The poll will be closed tomorrow, September 18th, at 3PM PDT, 22:00 CEST.

It seems inevitable we're going to be getting a Wandering Ancient, unless a whole lot of players jump into the poll in the next 24 hours and boost the numbers for the second ranking Curious Caterpillar or perhaps the Soaring Spelltome. While both US and EU have the Ancient as No.1, the difference between it and second place isn't as big as it is in China, where it has a whopping 42%, more than doubling the numbers of the next two (Caterpillar and Spelltome) at 19% each.

We still don't know what exactly will happen with the other 4 mounts that aren't chosen, but it's actually pretty likely that Blizzard make more than just the winner, so 2nd and 3rd places might matter a whole lot, as they might be the difference between getting the mount in-game or not! And so if you really want one of the others to make it into the game, go and get as many people as you can to vote for them in your region until tomorrow!

For me, it’s the Spelltome. We’ve got nothing like it as a mount in the game. All the others, while cool in their own ways, all have mounts that are at least a little bit like them in the game.

Besides, my Vulpera mage would look awesome soaring around on a spell book!

They should make the winner mount for free and the remaining four ones available for purchase? It'd be a pity if many players are p*ssed because their mount didn't make it.

Exactly, Spelltome was my mount of choice. Even as a "platform" mount, similar to some that we've got already, it seemed like a good idea.

With how many fanarts are there, I think some people are setting themselves up for disappointment when actual mount is going to look nothing like this.

Presumably it'll look pretty good though. The store mounts usually do.
