Jaylem 1 Report post Posted March 25, 2014 Hey All! I have been trialing with a new guild for the past couple of raid nights, and my dps is not where I or the guild leaders believe it should be given my item level. I do not have BiS trinkets at any level at this point however do have AoC (Flex). Could you please help, below is the nitty gritty. Here is a link to my Armory: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/frostmourne/Jaylem/simple Here is some logs (Sorry they are not warcraftlogs.com), mainly the Garrosh ones are where I would like some input or idea of problems/area of improvement, I have added others for reference: -Garrosh (24/3/14) http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/5rlhgmvtkymrqiwf/dashboard/?s=4339&e=4839 http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/5rlhgmvtkymrqiwf/dashboard/?s=3655&e=4117 http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/5rlhgmvtkymrqiwf/dashboard/?s=3007&e=3366 http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/5rlhgmvtkymrqiwf/dashboard/?s=2543&e=2767 -Various (23/3/14) http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/m8ur9pynnymq4hcd/sum/damageDone/ -Various (16/3/14) http://www.worldoflogs.com/reports/p4kdv203arn8u2v2/sum/damageDone/ Rotation: I have followed icy-veins rotation almost identical except the odd more survivability phases of a fight to help healers. I try to save Karma for specific mechanics but do use it regularly. I save Xuen until I have 10 tea to pop before Xuen. Thank you muchly for any help or input you can give, if I have stuffed up this post i.e. not enough info let me know.
Darksith 1 Report post Posted March 25, 2014 Hi there, I myself dont use Xuen on the Garrosh fight, but i use rushing jade wind. On the first phase use youre Storm, Earth and Fire on the adds that spawn and spam RJW in combination with (any) stack off Tigereye Brew. Also in the upstairs phases there are lots off adds to AoE zo RJW will help there aswell. I usually save my Karma for Whirling Corruption phases. Tiger power doesn't have the ideal uptime try to work on that aswell for a bit. Hope this helps a bit.
Dolzzy 14 Report post Posted March 25, 2014 Sup Jay, I could help you out more if you logged out in your WW Gear. Somethings i noticed tho is that tiger power up time is a bit low for a fight like garrosh only reason you shouldn't have the buff is on the terrace intermission running up the stairs. Make sure you're tracking it. I have a good weak aura for it let me know if you need it I suggest you use RJW it help with the adds in P1 and the intermissions and the MC's. If you're watching your timer for it, cast it right before it goes out. I even use Chi Burst instead of Chi Wave on this fight simply because of all the adds either one works. One attempt you casted SEF 13 times, Only time you should cast it is on the adds in P1. Remember if the mob isn't up more then 12 seconds it's pointless send a clone out that's a huge dps loss if you're doing so. I can recall times putting my SEF on garrosh by mistake and trying to re-apply it on the correct adds as being a huge dps loss for me. If you end up doing that you're better off just using a /cancel macro and just continue with your normal rotation. I hope you're tracking SEF as well!
Jaylem 1 Report post Posted March 25, 2014 Sorry, I reminded myself to log out in dps gear, then forgot. Idiot. Ill log out now and leave it in dps gear. Thank you for the suggestion about RJW. As for the SEF, for a couple of attempts I was throwing it on the weapon so help the ranged, the weapon was up various times, not sure if it was 12 seconds or not. Perhaps I should try RJW with SEF only in phase 1 and keeping a closer look at Tiger Power. Thanks all for the help
Dolzzy 14 Report post Posted March 25, 2014 (edited) You should also be using Chi Brew instead of Accession. They use to be neck to neck but now Chi Brew Pulls ahead. It's really good burst at the start of a fight. You can start with 7-10 stacks of TEB on pull. If you have the gold change your gems. Red Sockets: 160 Agility Orange Sockets: 80 Agility 160 Haste or 80 Agility 160 Crit. Depending if you're running out of energy. Blue Sockets: 80 Agility 160 Hit You can use my armory for reference: http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/gnomeregan/Dolzzy/advanced I just did 25M normal garrosh last night here's a link to it http://www.twitch.tv/dolzzy/c/3951521 Edited March 25, 2014 by Dolzzy

I'll watch that video and try out Chi Brew. Thanks

Also remember with AOC trinket you can get away with low haste values 7-9k because of the reduced CD of Energizing Brew. Take a look at mines.
