Warlock Patch 6.0 Notes and Analysis

•All spells and abilities have been significantly revamped. Again. You’ll figure it out.

 

Personally, I'm against this.  I think that most of the abilities simply require a slight tuning effort and all would be well.  I think this shows Blizzard's inability to settle with a concept and go with it.  They have enough to deal with in downsizing our Chaos Bolt, so I think this is a horrible mistake.

 

•Warlocks are now overpowered. This will be addressed in a future expansion.

 

This is good news.  This means they continue to avoid addressing the issues that allows us to "exploit" with the toolkit they provide us.  Let it be known that if we can do it, we will do it.  Which is why we are #1.  Suck it, Mages.

 

•Riding Felsteeds single file into battle will no longer hide Warlock numbers.

 

Warlock numbers?  Blizzard made these more noticeable by adding commas.  We have spells that use two commas.  Blizzard is the one that made the numbers larger in size, not us.  By riding in on Felsteeds, we try to cover up how great we are as to not embarrass our teammates in raid.  This is a rude and unwelcome change, Blizzard.

    To equalize utility between classes we have removed the Druid’s fifth spec.
    Symbiosis now also inherits all raid and boss lockouts from the target.
    Chatting while in Cat Form will now be presented with poor spelling, in all caps, using the Impact font.
    Druids in Bear Form now receive a bonus to Fishing.
    Druids in Moonkin Form are now 50% more delicious. As always, we recommend Free Range Moonkin whenever available.
    Tree of Life form now has a healing penalty during Autumn and Winter.
