"Tanking" gear has largely not been a thing ever since they removed defense rating on gear, with almost every tank benefitting from every secondary on gear, and not really having tank-specific stats. At least, not to the point that defense rating had back then (defense rating was what gave you crit immunity, at least on 3 of the four tanks). As a result, you'll be seeing a very slight difference, but not enough to care. You'll still be able to tank everything just fine even in unholy-optimized gear!
