Tip: Teleport to Oribos from Anywhere

Recommended Posts

49804-oribos-skybox-explained.jpg

Many people are complaining that the flight path from their Covenant Sanctum to Oribos takes too long, so here's a tip on how to reach the hub faster on a 2-hour cooldown!

The key item to make this work is Cloak of Coordination Cloak of Coordination. It is purchasable from Guild Vendors in Orgrimmar/Stormwind. Using the item teleports you directly to Stormwind/Orgrimmar portal rooms, and you end up in front of the Oribos portal, allowing you to reach the new hub quickly.

Alternatively, you could also use the Dalaran Hearthstone Dalaran Hearthstone and port to Orgrimmar/Stormwind from there on a shorter cooldown.

Mages and the Vulpera do not need to worry, as both have other means of getting there quickly. Thanks to nameisinappropriate for the tip!

I feel that the Legion Dalaran Hearthstone is more efficient.

It only has a CD of 20 minutes which gives more uses even though you still have to run to Stormwind Portal from the Dalaran Hearth location, which I feel is a proper trade off compared to the Cloak and it's 2 hour CD.

I must be missing something (high probability), because if the goal is to get from your Covenant to Oribos, set your hearth for Oribos.

For me it isn't the covenant>Oribos that is the time eater, it's the trans-covenantial trip that can take some time.  Still, I like the design concept of a central hub like Oribos.

Basically you want to set your Hearthstone at your Covenant and use the Cloak to get to Oribos quicker.  This is assuming that whichever destination to do your Calling, Dungeon farming, or Anima Farming to keep you busy for 20 or so minutes before re-using your stone or the cloak.

You forgot to mention that you can use all 3 cloaks seperately, which means you basically have 3 Orgrimmar ports. 2, 4 and 8 hours cooldown and they dont share a cooldown.

I still use my WoD garrison hearthstone for quick travel too. It requires a level 3 garrison (not hard to get because you can buy garrison resources off the AH) to get the portal to Ashran which has a portal to Org/SW, but it is also a nice place to log rested, change talents, and you can build a bank/guild bank/transmog spot.

also you can use Dalaran and WoD Garisson L3 HS's to get to OG/SW portal room in few seconds.Especially if you got M.2 drive...

Yup, I thought they were previously mentioned higher up in the thread, so I didn't bother adding them.

Not as quick as these ways, but what also worked okay was using the teleport from your sanctum to the flight path closest to Oribos and fly from there. It basically skips the whole flightpath over the zone. Or at least that works for Kyrian, no clue about the others.

You can also use the Brawler's Club ring The Brassiest KnuckleThe Brassiest Knuckle to teleport to Orgrimmar and then fly to the portal room. Or WoD Garrison Hearthstone then use portal to Ashran and then to Orgrimmar. You can also use your WoD Shipyard Captain's Ring. Lot's of ways to travel.

i still use my WOD garrison for the same reasons,

i have the AH bot on every alt to have their stuff on sale.
level 3 stables has the massive pet storage for hunters

portal to ashran

portal to org or storm

also the karanzhan dungeons have ring achievement with portal to kara.

which is sometimes super helpful place to be near

i have the 2hr cool org cloak too

dalaran stone is also very useful if doing bouncing around in short time periods

the other "stones" are moostly mimics of your normal stone.

i put all my hearth devices on bar to use individually,

but they share CD and location is shared on the different devices too

(greatfather winter's hearthstone)

even the (kyrian hearthstone) is not unique. waste of 750 anima i will never get back

(eternal traveler's hearthstone)

(headless horseman hearthstone)

many special different stones that all share the normal one's setting

We have another triple-feature, but this time it's of the Classic variety! No retail today, as Cataclysm, Season of Discovery and Era all get some changes, from a much reduced cooldown for the Dragonslayer World Buff and many rune fixes in SoD, to Titan Rune dungeon, pet, tabard changes and more in Cata!
       July 10 (Source)
      Cataclysm Classic
Tabard of Flame item will no longer destroy itself on login. The transmog is available via the appearances tab in collections, and the item itself is available via purchase from Landro Longshot in Booty Bay. Fixed multiple spells so that they now log properly and can be detected by addon authors and third-party web sites. Titan Rune Dungeons have been updated to allow for a single player to activate any of the three difficulties. The Lil' Deathwing pet now appears as expected in the Collections UI for players who previously added the Cataclysm Collector's Edition to their account. Season of Discovery
The 6-hour wait between applications of Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer and Warchief's Blessing has been reduced to 1 minute. Fixed an issue with the Rolling Thunder rune where it only worked if you also had the Shield Mastery rune equipped. That requirement was accidental and is now removed. Alchemists specialized in Mixology and Transmutation will now always get at least 1 extra resource produced by their specialized recipes. The maximum received from a single recipe is still 4. Main Gauche will now always apply its discount to Sinister Strike, even if the ability does not land. Both of Main Gauche's buffs will now be removed when the rune is removed. All non-Elite, non-Boss enemies in Nightmare Incursions now have health and damage values the same as a standard creature of their level. Previously, most had 50% more damage and health. Experience values for these enemies has been reduced by 33% in most cases, which is still more than standard creatures. Pattern: Leather-Reinforced Runecloth Bag (18 slots) is now available for Undermine Real. Bottomless Bag and Onyxia Hide Backpack now have 20 slots. WoW Classic Era and Hardcore
Fixed multiple bugs causing quests and abilities from Season of Discovery to be unintentionally present in Classic Era. The 6-hour wait between applications of Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer and Warchief's Blessing has been reduced to 1 minute.

Blizzard have shared some upcoming changes to Monks on the Beta, as the proc rate for Zen Pulse will be increased in the next build!
      Monk (Source)
Zen Pulse does currently scale its proc rate with the number of Renewing Mists active to encourage and reward good management of Renewing Mist uptime. We agree the current reward has not been enough and have increased the proc rate at higher counts in the next Beta Build. Thank you for your feedback!

Find out more about everything coming in the War Within pre-patch!
      Pre-Patch Release Dates
We expect the pre-patch to be released on July 23 in North America and July 24 in Europe, even though Blizzard has not yet revealed an official release date for the update. Pre-Patch Event Details
Radiant Echoes will be available starting July 30 on live servers. They take place in Searing Gorge, Dustwallow Marsh, and Dragonblight. These rotate every 1 hour and 30 minutes with nostalgic bosses like Onyxia, Ragnaros, and the Lich King. You can start completing them from Level 10 and they are a great source of leveling and a currency called Residual Memories. You can buy item level 480 gear with Residual Memories with the final zone bosses having a chance to drop item level 496 gear. Residual Memories can be farmed from weekly quests, dedfeating NPCS, and bosses. Leveling Changes
Blizzard is reducing XP required from levels 20-50 by 20%, 20-40% from 50-60, and 75-80% from 60-70. Dracthyr Evokers now start at Level 10 without the option to skip the starting zone. Dragonflight is now the default leveling experience instead of Battle for Azeroth. Flying Updates
Flying is now more streamlined with riding skills starting at level 10, maximum is 420% speed at level 30. All flying mounts now support Skyriding/Dragonriding, except for the Otterworldly Ottuk Carrier. Major Class Changes
All classes received notable changes in preparation for the new expansion. Warbands
"Account-wide everything" applies to all characters, realms, and factions. A shared Warband bank with up to 490 slots and customizable tabs can be purchased in the pre-patch. Reputation will be account-wide for Dragonflight and War Within factions at first. Now you can collect armor and weapon types not usable by your current character. You can transfer currency between characters with some limitations. Account-wide achievement progression has been merged. UI Updates
A new login screen has been implemented. New icons have been added to the game for quests, map icons, and so on. The spellbook and quest UI have been revamped for better navigation and readability. Guild Updates
Cross-Realm Guilds are enabled and there are no cross-realm Mythic restrictions. A new accessibility feature, Arachnophobia mode, has been implemented, replacing spiders with crabs. Misc Changes
Humans received a new "No Place Like Home" racial, reducing Hearthstone cooldown. Dalaran and Garrison Hearthstones received new animations. Ironforge guards got new armor. For more information, check out MrGM's latest video.
