Drafty53 17 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 Hey all, looking for some feedback as I look towards Siege/Klaxxi/Garrosh 10M Heroic. Unfortunately, I still do not have 4piece or Heroic Trinkets (Trinkets not that big of a deal). Just looking for some feedback on what I can optimize heading into those last three bosses. Thanks. Liquidsteel 279 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Took a quick peek at Iron Juggernaut. Guessing you do the knockback strat based on the kill time. Immolate uptime is good. Average chaos bolt damage is good. I see you cast Rain of Fire 5 times. Why is this? IIRC they removed 'immune' targets from generating embers. You can Havoc them however, as the incinerate will generate an ember as it leaves your character regardless of the target being immune. Those 5 GCD's could better have been spent on 5 more incinerates, potentially another full chaos bolt or shadowburn over the fight. As you pick up 4 set and heroic trinkets your damage will skyrocket for sure, so I think you're doing great. Edit: On Sha of Pride and also on Thok, your immolate uptime was below 90%. These fights both have periods of AoE and potential time not on the boss, but you definitely want to be at least 80% or above. Also on Thok you're casting a lot of Rain of Fire. This is likely during the stack phase where the screech is messing you up. I found it better to just cast one incinerate/immolate in between. If you try to fel flame/RoF after Incinerate you end up messing about and having to cancel casts due to GCD. Drafty53 17 Report post Posted April 18, 2014 (edited) Thanks so much for the quick feedback. In regards to the RoF casts, I was still under to impression that with the Meta gem proc and no other significant damage procs up it is worth it to RoF if the boss will stay in it the whole time for ember regen...is that no longer the correct play? Edit: Thanks for looking at more fights. I will try to maximize the immolate's. I have noticed I let it drop completely for a second or two from time to time so I need to work on that. The RoFs are just a bad habit still left over from the haste proc mindset and the pre 5.4 RoF rotation. Again, something I need to continue to work on so thanks for pointing it out. It's kinda irrelevant. You can do it, but I find it to just be a faff to place the reticule and stuff. Especially if you're standing at max range and have to move forward to place it correctly. I edited my post quickly with some other info, btw.

We had like 3 overlapping time-stamp edits.
