wow Item Level 120 Weapon with No Level Requirement

Aha! The Ember Court finally pays off! Well, at least until Blizzard see this and probably nerf it. Until then, it's time to have some fun with new characters, as there's an item level 120 weapon that has no equip requirement and also doesn't bind on equip either, as it's a grey quality item!

As spotted by HeyPhayPhay, the tribute chests from Stonehead in the Ember Court can contain the Large Muck Stained Blade, which has the equivalent DPS of a level 50 weapon with a 120 item level, so it's time to get that giant into your Ember Court and try and get this particular reward!

This type of thing has happened many times in the past, from Legion's Spear of Rethu archaeology weapon to the WotLK Enti's Quenched Sword, all of them were fixed and had a level requirement added later. In case you're not privy to the best Covenant activity ever (yes I'm Venthyr), perhaps you can poke a friend that is a member of our elite Covenant and ask them to share one if they get it! Or, more realistically, head on to the Auction House where this thing might start showing up as Venthyr players learn of its potential.

I may have actually gotten one of these myself, as a long-time Ember Court fan, but I never noticed its lack of level requirement. Luckily I still have my Court pending for this week, and then with the reset there's another chance at it, so it's clearly time to level... well something that can use a 2-handed sword. To be honest, rather then nerfing it, they should instead add equivalent versions for all other weapon types. Low lvl content is trivial as is, so adding in a completely stat-less 120 ilvl weapon shouldn't be that bad either for non-casters.
