rockspanda 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2014 Hey guys, Working on a frost mage right now, I usually play a Hunter but we currently have a shortage of mages and an abundance of hunters, so trying this out. Tonight was my first real night raiding on him, and I was wondering if anyone has some tips to help me improve my numbers. That being said, I realize I should be changing my bombs more on a per fight basis and I did not, I went with living bomb for all the fights. This is something I will do in the future, but will still take that as advice for anyone giving tips. Purely from a talent point of view, Temporal Shield is generally considered superior to Ice Barrier on every fight except Malkorok. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
TLTeo 29 Report post Posted May 5, 2014 (edited) Double posting so you get the notification. Looking at the log from Jug and Sha: 1) LB bomb uptime is decent but could be better. Invoker's uptime is good. 7 casts on Sha for a 5:40 kill is slightly too much, but no big deal i guess. You also should swap bomb between boss fights. 2) 77 IL casts vs 42 FoF procs on Jug, 81 vs 35 on Sha: only cast IL when you get the buff; if you have to move you have better spells to cast (fireblast and glyphed coc both do more damage). 3) 36 FFB casts vs 38 BF casts on Jug, 33 vs 38 on Sha: you manage this better then FoF, but you could improve here also. 4) No usage of pots during or pre fight That's about it; i'd say focus on Bomb and FoF management, but overall good performance.
