Gwenymph 414 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 This may or may not be possible. If it is, I'm doing it wrong. Just so happens both of my raiding priest guilds are on servers that were merged. I copied some logs from my current server on WCL to the realm that our guild was merged w/ to make it easier to look at server speed times, dps, etc. The logs are duplicates of those that are up on my home realm, I know. Was wondering if there was way to get the guild to show up on the realm rankings list instead of having to use two windows/monitors comparing separate realms? If it's not possible, anyone feel free to let me know. Thanks, Gwen
Kihra 11 Report post Posted June 30, 2014 I messaged him on Twitter and basically blizzard broke logs. From my guess, he has to teach the uploader to read it again. I will have to do that, since they changed the GUID format, but right now combat logs are completely broken on their end, i.e., many of the lines are missing information. I have to wait for them to fix that before I can make any progress.
Krazyito 521 Report post Posted July 4, 2014 If you have alpha help out WCL by submitting some logshttps://twitter.com/KihraOfTemerity/status/485103186353471489http://forums.warcraftlogs.com/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=3729&p=5447#p5445 Blizzard has apparently fixed the logs, but I need samples in order to understand what they changed, so I can make fixes on my end. What I need:(1) Damage and healing logs(2) With Advanced Combat Logging both *on* and *off*(3) Logs with permanent pets (e.g., hunter pet)(4) Logs with temporary pets (e.g., treants) EDIT: Should be working now, start uploading! Grace 1 Report post Posted October 22, 2014 Hi there Kihra! Our guild has just started logging on Warcraft logs as of 6.0.2 and we are loving it, thank you so much for this wonderful resource for us raiders I was curious if there is a way to tell who gets interrupted on Thok and the number of times they get interrupted? Our guild has just started logging on Warcraft logs as of 6.0.2 and we are loving it, thank you so much for this wonderful resource for us raiders I was curious if there is a way to tell who gets interrupted on Thok and the number of times they get interrupted? After some tinkering around I realized this can be done via pins! For anyone else wondering just create a pin by checking the "interrupts" box, then "Source/Target Hostility:" choose "Interrupts by Enemies" or "Interrupts by Any actors" would work too I suppose. I was looking for a specific trial healer so I selected their name under "Actors:" but you can just select all the casters if need be. Then "Sources:" I used the drop down to hover on "Boss" then "Thok the Bloodthirsty" then either "Create Pin" or "Change Pin" at the bottom right. Should bring you to a page that automatically says "Thok the Bloodthirsty's Deafening Screech interrupts <enter raider's name here> Chain heal". If not make sure at the bottom left there should be three tabs: Tables View, Events View and Fight Analysis. Click on Events View. Thanks again for this wonderful website Kihra :)

Thanks again for this wonderful website Kihra For a solution without pins... you can select the Interrupts tab and then switch from "Friendlies" to "Enemies" (those labels are underneath the source dropdown).
Grace 1 Report post Posted October 24, 2014 My husband did a huge facepalm when he read this. So obvious as we were using the friendlies/enemies feature for other things haha. Thanks for this obvious alternate that isn't as time consuming as making a pin :)
Baskers 1 Report post Posted November 20, 2014 I'd like a feature that lets you name your sessions while you are logging so you can cut them up into different files before upload. That would help us greatly. For example: I start logging the session, we make some roster changes, I /combatlog Group2 (the space being the name of the new session) and then the log splits to account for the new people to keep the logs separate. Does that make sense? If this is already a feature and I'm an idiot please let me know.

The only way I can see this happening is on the WCL side, since the combatlog file won't recognize different groups, just that there are players doing stuffs on other characters (including non-playable characters). One way I see this working is an after-the-fact fix, where you go and specify on WCL site that certain bosses are fought with different groups.

When I need to break it up in game I do it old fashion and /combatlog in and out of dungeons, fights, makeups.

Orthios 271 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 Something I noticed as I was looking at rankings from last nights raid, WCL shows all fights as 10-man and sometimes only shows ranks for 9-10 people, even though we had 14-16 people throughout the night. Log here: https://www.warcraftlogs.com/rankings/report/HgA4D9mak2nZWxjf#boss=1719
drumsmani 47 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 I think they use a cutoff of 5000 for displaying ranking. For fight rankings, ranks below 5000 are not shown. For character rankings, ranks below 5000 are not shown.
Orthios 271 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 I think they use a cutoff of 5000 for displaying ranking. That solves one issue, but doesn't explain why it's listed as 10 man raid when there's 14-16 people.
drumsmani 47 Report post Posted December 11, 2014 That is likely a naming / labeling issue. It shows the same for our guild's 24-25 man kill groups.
