wow The Lucky Ones: 2 Mounts from 1 Gul'dan Kill, Somehow Beaten by an Insane Paragon Chest

Here's some extreme luck to off-set the extreme unluck we saw this morning. We recently talked about some lucky Firelands mount drops and, as you'd expect, the one-upsmanship started right after that, with a player reporting their double mount Gul'dan kill and feeling pretty good in the "luckiest player" race. However, that didn't quite last long as a statistics-defying Paragon cache was opened.

But first we have the Gul'dan kill, with a double infernal drop, as both green and red showed up for Aurum_T:

Interestingly, there's a player in that thread that was encouraged to go farm Invincible due to the post and actually got the drop, and another also boasted about their Ashes of Alar + Invincible drops on the same day! But later that same day came the cream of the insanely lucky crop, as seanbeck may have gotten the luckiest RNG of all, a TRIPLE mount drop from an Army of Light Argus paragon cache!!

That's a pretty understated reaction, as seanbeck's ENTIRE luck has just been used up forever!

There are plenty of lucky drops like this happening all the time, but it's always great to see players get rewarded on such incredibly low probabilities (the Gul'dan mounts are 1% each, so getting them both is just insane, and the paragon cache mounts are about 4% each). The other great debate surrounding these drops is: does this mean those two players should go get lottery tickets because of their amazing luck or should they never buy them because their luck has been used up.

i had that paragon cache drop me those 3 elephants, but already had 2 on my bank ( i was saving them for a massive 250 mounts-300mounts-350mounts-400mounts achivement so my guild goes :O OMG WOW WTF)
Since i havent learned them i was still eligible for the drop.

2 of those went to my mail since they are unique and already had 2 on my bank.

I feel glad im in pair with the so called LUCKYIEST Drop.

Also i think gul'dan double drop its kinda better than those 3 elephants
