Enzyte 11 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 Hello everyone! Recently I've stopped playing WoW, and switched to Diablo 3, which is pretty awesome imo. However I don't like playing it alone and my friend is back to WoW for a bit. I miss MMOs. But I don't really want to spend monthly sub. Can anyone suggest me a good Free to Play MMO please? F2P != Pay 2 Win. I've tried Wildstar, but it has some unnecessarily high system requirement. I want to play even on my old laptop which. I've heard Rift is pretty similiar to WoW. Any experiences? Hybrys 199 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 I was a pretty big fan of Rift, but it doesn't quite compare to WoW. And, if I recall, they work on a Pay-to-Access platform, so you can play everything but the latest content for free. This includes 4 'souls' (Talent trees), as well as the ability to access the AH. I also enjoyed The Secret World for a short bit. It's the same way as Rift, except that the latest content (Raids/Dungeons) is also locked for a while, with a paywall to get around the lock. Guild Wars 2 is definitely worth it if you're okay paying outright for the experience. Lots of content, regular patches, but a slight P2W lean once you get into the world. It's hard to find a F2P that really stacks up against WoW. I'm really enjoying Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn right now, but that's another purchase + subscription game. Storm 426 Report post Posted May 13, 2014 I played rift for about 6 months when it first came out. I love the soul system, crafting had some neat features. I loved the exploration and collecting artifacts. Raiding was fun, but there just wasn't enough content to keep the game interesting. PVP was about as balanced as BC wow (which means it's extremely unbalanced). I'm not sure how much has changed since 2 years ago, but it's hard for me to devote time to a game that has such a small community now. It's the people I've met inside and outside wow, and interacting with people through forums like Icy-Veins that keeps me playing WoW. I only find the actual game interesting for about the first 3 months after a new expansion, and then maybe for a month after each new tier comes out. Friend's get me through the rest of the gaps. Although on a side note, there are hundreds of Asian MMO's that you'll probably never hear of unless you have friends that are into Asian MMO's. a lot of them can be fun to try out and play for a few weeks just to kill some time. Ragnarok, Fly For Fun, Maple Story, tons more obscure names neither of us have ever heard of. google japanese MMORPG, try the weirdest one you can find and let us know if it's fun
Axiom 0 Report post Posted March 23, 2015 I suggest Need for Madness Multiplayer. It is a very fun multiplayer racing and wasting game. You can battle people from all around the world, and to top that, you can create your very own cars and stages!
