MichaelMaloney 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2014 i'm 550 forst and with frost armour i'm at 44% haste all alone http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/turalyon/Riolas/advanced and i was wondering if anyone knew how much haste is too much haste im at 35% mastery and i know its one of our main stats. if you do know please answer with % instead of straight up numbers like *you need 11k haste* or somthing like that. please and thankyou Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Eliadann 0 Report post Posted May 20, 2014 You should check this link, it is very complete: http://wowpedia.org/Haste Haste does not have a cap, but its most beneficial effect (reducing the global cooldown) it IS capped at 1.0 seconds. Since the base GCD is 1.5 seconds, going above 50% will not help you anymore reducing GCD, but will continue helping you in all other things that spell haste does. So it is a kind of semicap. Being arcane, I would not raise haste anymore once you reach 50% of spell haste raid buffed (with mage armor, not frost armor). Being frost, might be a different story and your play style matters.
