Hey fellow paladins! A few questions.

First, who's using that 615 follower quest reward trinket? It seems like a clear BiS to me. It gives 138 bonus armor which is just insane.

Also, does anyone have links to good high level protection paladin tutorials? Would like some WoD ones if possible.

What is the average dps of a level 95 paladin, with an ilevel of 547? I feel like i shoul dbe doing more, but I am unsure. My paladin can only put out 4k, while using CDs. Any suggestions?

Where are all the holy paladins?!  =(  

 

Honestly, I am just curious to talk to some holy paladins about how they feel our position in raids are going!  I have noticed that we can be competitive (at least in my guild, so that means one of two things....either we are actually competitive or my other healers just lack the know how of their classes. There are 2 priest and 2 druids in my raid atm).  However, there is a severe lack of HoPo building, and I personally need to get a little better at building it (yes I use holy shock on CD, but my mana can't handle holy radiance atm) and more so using it.  It builds so slowly, that there are times I just forget to use it.  Going to make a power aura for it today, that way I won't forget anymore.  Insights?

For reference, my monk tank did ~5k dps at that level, with a slightly lower ilvl.  You should probably be doing more around 7k.

.. Ugh. My ilevel is about 548, but it may be a stat priority problem. I'll link my armory to see if it'll help.

All these tanks up in here! I'm in the same boat, I'm raiding with two priests, a shaman and a druid. I usually fall somewhere into the top 3, along with our disc priest and druid. Druid (unsurprisingly) is awesome currently, but overall I think we're closer to parity among healers than we have been in some time, although I can't speak for mistweaver. As for your issues with holy power generation, I feel your pain. I'm still married to my Holy Avenger, and I'm just trying to get spirit on all my jewelry. Not sure what else we can do. I made a weakaura trigger for enhanced holy shock, that definitely helped my holy power generation slightly, but I think the days of holy radiance on demand are gone forever. 

 

My only real advice would be to try to adjust your playstyle to an environment where Holy Light is the name of the game, and holy power spenders are used less frequently.

This is exactly what I have done, and I am getting by ok!  I find that the more spirit I get on my gear, the less painful it is to use holy radiance as needed (or on proc).  I am finding that in order to get the HoPo that we need to use our finishers, we have to use our procs correctly.  Oh well, practice makes perfect, as they say!  :P

I am currently leveling up my level 95 pally to eventually be a primary tank/Holy OS. Due to the changes in holy in WoD as compared to MoP, how would it be played now? I want to start healing at level 100, but even healing dungeons around level 92 was a nightmare. Does anyone have any advice about healing rotation, based on play experience?

I'd say that's down to your preference, and you may swap it around based on the encounter. I've been using almost exclusively EF for highmaul (currently only 6/7H) and it certainly feels weaker than it used to. Anyone getting some major mileage out of sacred shield in highmaul?

I tried using Sacred shield as a lower level, and it failed horribly. Eternal flame always felt better to use, but I was unsure if it'd been changed. I guess when I heal at level 100, I'll use Eternal flame.
