All-Women UWU Stream Team: Live Mondays and Wednesdays

Recommended Posts

UWU.jpg

Those who enjoy watching FFXIV raid progression are in for a treat, as eight women streamers in the category have joined forces to take on The Weapon’s Refrain (Ultimate)! All progression will be streamed weekly at 6 a.m. PT each Monday and Wednesday.

Be sure to support the team by checking out the different POVs during their livestreams!

According to Annie's website, the group was formed to bring new and old friends together while taking on an Ultimate challenge. Although the main goal is to have fun, clearing the fight before Endwalker's release would be an added bonus.

Commonly referred to as UWU, The Weapon’s Refrain (Ultimate) features a gauntlet-style arena in which players must strategically battle Garuda, Ifrit, and Titan in succession before facing The Ultima Weapon. Annie recapped the first two raid meetings in the following tweet, reporting that the team has already made it to Titan progression!

More information and progress updates are available on Annie's website, which also links to a Corsair giveaway that fans can enter by following the UWU team members on Twitch and Twitter.

Why does it matter if they're women? I don't get this obsession with gender or race these days. If you're good at something, you're good at it, no matter what you are.

And don't give me that "muh-sogyknees" bullcrap. The only type who complain about that are exactly the types that should be kept out of hobbies. True fans love their hobbies. Fake fans are the types who see one episode of Big Bang theory and they think they know it all, after which they demand changes

Well, its the same thing as when it comes to other aspects, they involve the gender, if they are gay or trans or black or something, if it makes them feel special for pointing it out, like its a weird concept for women to be gamers or gay people or black people, i never, EVER understand it.

All that matters in a video game team is if you are good or not and if you love it or not.....if you are bad at it, you will only bring the team down performance wise and if you don't love it, you won't do your best at it and also let your team down in the process....that is all that matters in a team like this.

1: Are You good at the game?

2: Do you love playing the game?

3: Do you really think it matters to anyone what gender or race you are?

Here are the correct answers:

1: Yes

2: Yes

3: No

Woke joke.

"Only women? Not diverse enought."

I don't see any (wo)men in there, weak diversity indeed.

Final Fantasy XIV is experiencing a large player drop since 7.0 and 7.1, soon hitting under 1 million active players!
Dawntrail has received mixed reviews, and the game has not been doing so good since the release of patch 7.0. Despite new content such as the World of Darkness Chaotic Raid or the latest Alliance Raid, which both received good feedback, it seems that the majority of players have nothing to do in the game right now.
The latest data report published on December 29, 2024, by Lucky Bancho, provides an analysis of player activity in Final Fantasy XIV following the release of Patch 7.1. The report indicates a decline in active characters:
The number of active players decreased by 120,000, going from 1.15 million to approximately 1.03 million New character creation has slowed, with about 47,000 new characters, down from 54,000 in the previous period The number of players still active since the previous update is around 830,000, a decrease of 170,000 The number of returning players who were previously inactive but have now become active is approximately 120,000, an increase of 20,000 The number of active players right now is close to falling below 1 Million. This means it will soon be lower than before Shadowbringer's peak number of players.
The report suggests that the overall decline in active characters may be attributed to various factors, including player engagement with new content, community dynamics, and broader gaming trends. It emphasizes the importance of entertaining story and content to attract and retain players.
      The main issues being:
Dawntrail's story did not attract the majority of players. Many felt bored and stopped playing right after they were done with MSQ The lack of content. While Savage, Chaotic, and Ultimate came out after 7.1, it is not content you will eternally grind once you completed it a couple of times Party Finder. With the possibility to jump servers, and being forced to use party finder for raiding, a lot of players end up in empty servers with no possibility to jump to "raiding servers" because they end up already full. Players end up giving up and stop playing until the next patch releases Lack of casual content: nothing has been released that will allow you to grind casually every day for rewards, mounts, glam, or anything else. Even events only take a few minutes to complete, there is nothing that keeps players entertained right now A lot of other reasons can be found for the massive drop in players right now. While it is always expected in MMO games, it is still concerning considered previews expansions never saw such a decrease in active players in FFXIV. We can only hope that Square Enix will take it into account to change things for the future!
For a the complete analysis, you can refer to the original report by Lucky Bancho.
