Low budget version of the basic mage deck?

I was wondering if the person who made the basic mage deck could come up with a low budget version of that deck.

What cards can I replace? I really like the concept of this deck. For instance, I know cairne can replace a yet, etc.. (this wouldn't be low budget but you get the idea).
