Zagam 1,982 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 Let's shoot the shit - who's got some plans this weekend? Me and the queen-to-be are headed to see Purge, grab some dinner, then do some alt PvP tonight with a drink or two. Saturday, I'm heading home to see a buddy who is moving to California shortly after my wedding. We're going back to high school with a Halo 1 and 2 LAN party, except this time, we'll be legally allowed to consume the beverages we did back then. What are you dark souls getting into? Zagam 1,982 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 Date night tonight without the kids (thank god). Cookout Saturday and then nothing Sunday lol. Hell yeah! Everyone's cooking out. Live up the days of summer. Why not find something to do on Sunday? Don't waste those weekends. Follow up date night with a breakfast in bed for the gf/fiancee/wife. That'll make sure *something* gets done on Sunday.
Demilan 0 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 That's true. I'm in the Navy and full weekends off happen about once a month for me. I'm sure we'll end up at the pool or something. My girlfriend absolutely hates sitting at home... Slowly getting her into wow though haha

Gnar 26 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 A friend of mine is turning 21 this weekend. To put it in more warlocky terms, we are the boss and a shot of tequila is a Chaos Bolt. There may not be many a fight, but when they hit, they hit hard and something will die within minutes.

There may not be many a fight, but when they hit, they hit hard and something will die within minutes. Don't die. Remember to mix in water while drinking heavily. Also, remember to designate a driver to make sure you get home. Setting all of this up and remembering to be responsibile while having fun can make the day after both a possibility and a more enjoyable experience. Have fun! I think this post deserves a guide of its own. Refresh drink at least hourly for max fun but too often will overdo it. Use water as filler. If you choose to prepot, only do so right before you leave or you will have wasted it. To maximize fun, get laughter and good times buff from others.

Lockybalboa 618 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 Im going to stay home chained to my desk and study for a midterm, then Im going to do 4/5ths of the work for a "group" project because Im the only one in my "group" that gives a rats ass about my grade! Zagam 1,982 Report post Posted July 18, 2014 I have the pleasure of getting my wisdom teeth out this afternoon so my weekend is going to be lots of gaming as a recover. The plus side is I dont need to work this weekend now! I got my invisible braces put in - holy shit did Day 1 hurt. Day 2 wasn't terrible, and today, Day 3, all is good. Teeth pain is the WORST. When I got my smart teeth taken out, I was woopy on anesthesia hangover for about 3 hours - do NOT eat anything after if you even feel the slightest bit sick. I puked up my food and my pain pill. Vicodin is your friend, puking is not. Don't freak if you see blood coming out - just means your stitches broke loose early. Don't panic. It happened to me - everything will be ok. Go get Vanilla pudding (or whatever flavor you like). Don't try to eat anything solid that requires biting for two days. You'll just hate yourself with the pain. If you start to hurt, pop another pill - you won't need all of them your doc prescribes anyways. If you run out of pills, something else is wrong. When you're gaming (I did for 4 days after), make sure to sip water, but use a straw as to not help bacteria grow in your new gaping holes in your jaw where your teeth were. Make sure you sit up straight to keep blood flow. Sounds like I'm giving medical advice, but I'm telling you what I learned that the doc won't tell you. Godspeed on swift recovery! Im going to stay home chained to my desk and study for a midterm, then Im going to do 4/5ths of the work for a "group" project because Im the only one in my "group" that gives a rats ass about my grade! Yay! I. Hate. You. All. Make sure you submit a 'team feedback' page where you site who did what percentag of what job. I had a similar issue with a group in school and I was awarded bonus points while they all got the percentage I said they did (someone got a 5% for showing up for one meeting). If they're fucking you, fuck them back.

Thank god I have that form or else I'd be fuc- oh...wait...ya...we're getting graded as a "group" with no consideration of the work each member did.... Shitty team members and employees get fired...or promoted if they know someone. That's corporate America. #Murica
