[Frost] Mage burst

How much u guys can burst as frost mage? im having a discusion with some random guy whos saying its possible to burst 1,5M with bis gear SINGLE target

im saying theres no way, but i want to be sure if theres anyone sick enough to go over 1,1M?

Still not buying it. I checked some of my old logs like 2 months ago on IJ and it says i did burst 1M and thats total crap. Just to mention it was before patch . My highest burst with this gear was on blackfuse 900k on flexi. Besides malkorok hc aint pure single target due adds

Ehm when you say burst you mean dps pick,
 

You can have 2million dps, but that's probably only for roughly a second and then it drops off. Think on how when you first damage a mob (let's say you do 4 million damage on a mob with 4 million health with a Chaos Bolt). Then for that split second you did 4 million dps, because for one second you did 4 million damage.

You'll never see 2m on skada, as frost. Good single target burst might show 800-1m on skada if everything aligns? But, frost isn't really about the burst dps.

On a purely single target fight like Iron Juggernaut where Heroism is used at the beginning and my Immerseus trinket procs right away, usually 900k-1.1M is normal burst, and I'm 580 ilvl.

 

If you are full BiS and happen to get some good luck with BF/FoF charges, I have no doubts 1.5M is doable.  Pretty rare, though.
