What To Expect For Patch 6.15

The Final Fantasy XIV special site has been updated with new information about the upcoming Patch 6.15!

Content includes the Arkasodara tribal quests and Custom Deliveries: Ameliance, as well as the highly anticipated sequel to Hildebrand's Adventures, and other side stories such as Tataru's Grand Endeavor, and Omega: Beyond the Rift. Here is everything we know so far about the new patch to be released on June 7!

Tataru’s Grand Endeavor

xffxiv-patch-6.15-tataru-1024x576.jpg,qx86918.pagespeed.ic.Y5vHmMHl45.jpg

As Scion coinkeeper and crafty craftswoman, Tataru is more than cut out for running her own boutique. Nay, the true question is how the world─and indeed, the Warrior of Light─is to keep up with her ambitious designs!

We know Tataru has been busy building her textile empire and we've seen how scarily good she is at it! Teasers on the special site show that Sicard will also make an appearance. Personally, Sicard was my absolute favorite NPC from the main story— his antics with Emmanellain really sold him for me as a character. Just what kind of mischief will they be up to this time?

Omega: Beyond the Rift

P3OFtyVbPQSkkFelzPQaJqBu34.jpg

A mysterious transmission lifted from the flight logs of the Ragnarok launches an unexpected journey of discovery. A tale once thought ended was only just beginning...

The Omega raid series hailing from Stormblood is making its comeback! This quest is only available once you have finished the Endwalker MSQ and Omega raid series as it pertains to the final zone in Endwalker as well as its inhabitants. If you haven't touched the Omega raids, you should definitely try it out, especially if you're interested in lore about dragons and AI machines! As an Allagan lore enthusiast, I couldn't be more excited. You can find the start of the quest in Rhalgr’s Reach (X: 12.6, Y: 12.4) from Wedge

Somehow Further Hildibrand Adventures

j52dBVkTEb8W7h8P12IWWOgyg4.jpg

Last seen vanishing into the interdimensional rift alongside his archrival Gilgamesh, Hildibrand—agent of enquiry, inspector extraordinaire—has resurfaced in a rather concerning state. Reunite with his ever-enterprising assistant Nashu that you might get to the bottom of what is sure to be another hair-raising, heart-pounding case!

Countless people feared for Hildebrand as we went through an entire expansion without our beloved detective. He had a very small cameo in Heroes' Gauntlet — one of Shadowbringers' dungeons, but that's only if you have an exceptionally keen eye! Thankfully it isn't the last we've seen of him, if the upcoming patch is any indication.

If you haven't started the Hildebrand questline, I highly recommend you should. The budget for it was amazing for its debut in ARR, the comedic quality of its cutscenes and absurd humor that leaves a bigger impression than a good portion of the main story at the time. Don't believe it? See for yourself! You can start the quest by going to an NPC named Wymond, found in Ul’dah (X: 9.8, Y; 8.7).

Arkasodara Tribal Quests

jYuD_eerDEeCZhSJee0Ew6ipVY.jpg

Hulking in stature and kind at heart, the Arkasodara are known for their alchemical ingenuity and...hippo carts!? Follow a crew of young upstarts seeking to blaze a new trail across Thavnair's history and ride like no one has ridden before. On your mark─the open road awaits!

Do you enjoy the atmosphere of Thavnair as much as I do? Now you have another reason to spend time in this Middle Eastern inspired continent along with your resident gentle giants! According to the Patch 6.1 trailer and the synopsis above, we'll have some hippo cart racing to look forward to. I, for one, am a very big fan of the tanks in the dwarf tribal quests, so I'm super excited to see how the hippo cart mount will measure up here.

One of the requirements to unlock the Arkasodara Tribal quests include completing several existing sidequests in Thavnair. In particular are the questlines that begin with "What's in a Parent" in Thavnair (X: 29.2, Y: 15.3) from the NPC Yezahn, and the aether current quest "Steppe Child" in Thavnair (X: 25.6, Y: 36.1) from the NPC Ogul

Custom Deliveries: Ameliance

Gt4lhEUcsGugptqSXON4IPO9xo.jpg

With the Final Days averted, great waves of change have reached the shores of Sharlayan. The burden of its duty lifted, the long-reticent seat of knowledge has begun to open its borders at last, and in the midst of such upheaval, Ameliance Leveilleur has a new venture in mind...

Some may bemoan the lack of the Leveilleur twins in the last patch, but the upcoming patch seeks to remedy that some by introducing their mother Ameliance as the newest client for custom deliveries. While the nature of these tasks still remain to be seen, crafters and gatherers can be rest assured that they have plenty of Scrips, Gil, and EXP to farm for.

Job Changes

While the state of jobs is in constant flux, we do know that there will be changes made to Black Mage in PVP. It is unknown whether any changes will be made outside of PVP, but you can check out what Naoki Yoshida had to say about the circumstances that prompted this adjustment here.

The beloved Moogle Treasure Trove event makes its return in October! Hunt for Goetia and get your Donut Earring, Gwiber Trumpet, and more!
While the wait for patch 7.1 in Mid-November may feel long, you will have plenty of activities to do with the New Moogle Treasure Trove Event!
The Moogle Treasure Trove: Hunt for Goetia, will start on Tuesday October 15th, 2024 at 8:00 GMT (19:00 AEDT) to the release of Patch 7.1 scheduled for mid-November.
During the event, you will be able to collect Goetia Tomestones by completing specific duties and activites, and exchange them for rare and exclusive items, such as the Donut Earring, Innocent Gwiber Mount, Hades Barding, Hairstyles, Emotes, other various mounts, minions, and much more!

This event is a great opportunity for all players to enjoy various content and activities you usually don't dedicate too much time to.
During the event, you will have access to your Mogpendium:

The Mogpendium has all the details needed for collecting Tomestones. Instead of merely having several types of dungeons to farm, you will have multiple ways to obtain the Goetia Tomestones:
Standard Objectives: this is the regular way of earning Tomestones. Simply complete the required duties (which will feature a moogle icon in the duty finder). Additionally, you can now also get tomestones from GATEs (the Gold Saucer events) and Ocean Fishing routes. However, keep in mind that Tomestones are not rewarded when using adventurer squadrons or duty support, as the Level Sync option must be used for unrestricted parties. You will also need to score at least 1200 points when ocean fishing to earn Tomestones. Weekly Objectives: Weekly objectives will be assigned to each player, and updated every Tuesday at 8:00am (GMT). You can check your weekly objectives through the Mogpendium, and completing them will earn you additional Tomestones. Minimog Challenges: You will have to select one of two objectives, which can only be fulfilled once every week. It's a way to complete a variety of challenges during the event that you wouldn't normally do. Minimog challenges will also reset on Tuesday at 08:00 am (GMT). Ultimog Challenges: These challenges can only be completed once during the duration of the event. They will give you a significant amount of tomestones, so it is worth trying your luck! You can check the Mogpendium at any given time during the event. Standard Objective rewards are automatically added to your inventory when you complete the duties, while the Weekly, Minimog and Ultimog Challenges will have to be claimed through the Mogpendium.

Once you have enough Tomestones, head to the usual Itinerant Moogle to exchange them for rewards! You can find one near the main Crystal in each of the starting cities: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, New Gridania, and Ul’dah Steps of Nald.

For more information, and the complete list of rewards you can obtain, visit the Official Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Goetia Website.
Moreover, should you need some help with your hunts, check out our Moogle Treasure Trove Event Guide, where you can find specific routes or duties to farm, as well as the most efficient ways to do so!
