help with multiple target dottings

I'm having a really difficult time dotting multiple targets. It seems that when there are a lot, they would stack on top of each other and when I want to refresh the dots, pressing tab tends to bring me to the ones that don't need refreshing and I already lose out on those valuable seconds

Tidy Plates is awesome for this. You can set it up to display the dots you want to track, and it separates the plates so they're individually displayed when multiple mobs are on top of each other.

I don't bother tabbing. Seeing all the individual dots makes it simple to select specific mobs to refresh em.

I agree completely. It's a great addon in general, making it easier to click on different targets as well as helping you see the health of multiple mobs, your threat status, and dots you have on them :)

Ahh thanks for the feedback. I think my biggest problem was having the nameplate "stack" instead of spread out. Thanks for the help guys

alternatively, use ElvUI (http://www.tukui.org )

It has its own version of tidyplates built into it. I rarely have a problem targeting a specific mob using this.

It also obeys the blizzard option of spreading or stacking nameplates
