JuanJuany 2 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Really appreciate the help guys. I thank you for telling me to snapshot immolate, for showing how to use havoc. And hell, for telling me that my class is deep, and has a high skill cap. Otherwise I would be just another Warlock who deals mehps On Heroic Garrosh I was doing engineers +killing desecrated weapons and still managed to pull 2nd in overall dps, and 3rd in Garrosh damage (hunter got me by a few mill). Here's the log! http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/dbf9m1WGLJ4Qhv3D Here's the kill vid! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mULButucTZ4 I am deeply thankful to all the guys in the Warlock forums, specially Zagam and Liquidsteel and Lockybalboa. You guys are doing gods work for the community, and it's very appreciated. Following in your image, I am helping people in game with their Warlock questions, and spreading the "PBI+DS SYNC!" as much as I can! This week, I refined my strat. Stopped killing all weapons beside the first (2x2 Havoc +1 immo to kill it) and focused on damage. Had to stop DPS so we could sit trough the second intermission (yes I know, we're pussies). We wiped in P3 at 5% and this is my damage for it: http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/azXvA7dVYkTtnRJG Definitely an improvement, but if someone's got any ideas on what to do, I would gladly appreciate it. A few things that I do to improve my dmg: Havoc Engi in P1 when I have the trinket procs. Havoc Garrosh and CB engi. +2x DSPBI CB's onto Rosh. Immolate on the wolfrider and then throw 1 SB onto it for the embers. CB Rosh in the meantime. Immolate uptime i something im working on. Havoc weapons, only real wasted dps is immolating it. Try to sync havoc with trinket procs. Damage only 1 weapon. Conflag the MC's, interrupt only if they are at 60% of the cast. Havoc the empowered whirling add and SB Rosh. Get embers off whirl adds with SB (also in P1 whenever i can). Havoc adds in Int1 and kill 2 +SB the rest. When I get the stop dps I immolate as many weapons as I can, it allows me to gain embers for the extra damage in P2.5 when my PBI procs. Immo damage ticks in the intermission (P1 adds are immune tho). SB weapon if I have the chance. Stay in melee of Rosh in P2/P3. Everyone else is running (they wanted it!), this means i don't need to run while my trinkets are up. Pull embers for execute with SB. As much as I can. Helps a lot. If anyone got an idea on what else I can do - it will be awesome. We get 2 engis so it kinda cripples my damage a lot. But not much choice is given. I would love to outdps our paladin tank, but I can't seem to find a way to do it. The bastard is always a bit ahead. Also, another question. http://us.battle.net/wow/en/character/dunemaul/Warlog/advanced Is my current armory. I've got these 2 babies. http://www.wowhead.com/item=104609 http://www.wowhead.com/item=105627 Should I swap my Gaze for the MH+OH. Im wondering because neither the OH or MH are BIS, but the warforged bonus looks interesting. This week i can ugrade the weapon to 4/4 and next week the OH to 4/4 (praying for Rosh one to drop! Should I do it? yes/no why? Edited August 24, 2014 by JuanJuany

Should I do it? yes/no why? Average ilvl > all (normally) It *might* be a VERY VERY small gain to use the MH/OH but not anything you could see. Wait till you have HWF mh/oh or a HWF 2h before upgrading. Havoc Engi in P1 when I have the trinket procs. Something many people miss. 5) I conflag Garrosh right before the MCs so that I can 3-6 stack CB the MCs. CB WILL NOT KILL THE MC TARGET. Very useful to break them out wicked fast. NEVER USE HAVOC+CB ON A MC TARGET unless you are intentionally trying to kill them. Lastly, Glad we could be of help mate, good luck in WoD
Liquidsteel 279 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 (edited) Yay I got mentioned, moving up in the world! Congrats on killing him, and let's see how we can answer some of your questions. I too use Havoc on the weapons. I use them for incinerates and manually immolate them. The ember generation from this is a bonus to your single target boss damage. If you're going for ranks you'd cleave Chaos Bolt and/or Shadowburn, but the real competition on this fight is boss damage. With an average ilvl of 580+, you really shouldn't be getting a second engineer, nor should you be seeing the second intermission. This is likely a result of some of your members not pulling their weight, and/or your team still getting to used to min maxing the fight. Rest assured that you won't ever beat your tank on damage if they're solo tanking. They get ridiculous vengeance and should be the target of your rogues' tricks too. Hunters can be tricky to beat too, you basically need to go ham on the boss and maximise single target where possible. Also I see now that locky replies so I'll cut it short. Use the Warforged weapon it's an increase for sure. Also sacrificial pact is op on this fight. Pop it 15 seconds before he actually casts Whirling and it will be up for the next one. Never die! Edit: So your rogue is tricksing the Windwalker. Erm... WHAT? Get him to use it on your tank who is doing FAR more damage, and have him macro it in so he uses it more than 3 times. Trust me this will massively aid your raid in DPS. Likely an extra few % in each phase thanks to the vengeance. JuanJuany 2 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 Much Love to you guys. @Locky AMR says i get a 7k points relative increase with the HWF weapon. I should notice that i think. Tho I will be hoping for a Rosh OH. Immo goes to full duration on wolfy, so it's cool. Also I try to avoid MC's, because I want to maximize my Rosh damage. Also often times i waste time by casting incin/cb on the MC's because they are un-MC'd fast. @Liquid We are intentionally getting second intermission. We have to stop dps for it. Because our healers want to replenish mana and etc. I tried saying that we don't need the second intermission, but alas. I am but a top dps :) http://www.warcraftlogs.com/reports/dbf9m1WGLJ4Qhv3D This is our kill log (fixed it in the initial post). The damage difference is 20M by the end of the fight. I think i should be able to find these extra 20m somewhere in the fight (Specially if we manage to avoid second engineer, so i can pad like mad). Today we wiped at 5% in P3, I had 4m less dmg than the tank. So I need a bit more to be atleast comparable to him in damage. Sacrificial pact is OP on all fights. For the last month or more I've been using it on every fight to great success. grimsac+sacpact mean Im constantly lowest on damage taken. It's so good. I use it badly, and am aiming for 15 sec before, but usually do it 10 sec before, and it screws me over :( I will relay the suggestion to the rogue. I am also surprised he is tricksing our monk. (Should trix our Mage first and then tank till the end of the fight.) Our mage is struggling, he's created a thread on the mage section, but is still struggling sadly. He says he found his mistakes and is working on them, but yeah... And i will do the HWF+H OH for now. Tommorow hope on a Rosh OH.
Liquidsteel 279 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 I should clarify that I meant boss damage. With padding I can sometimes beat our tank, but no chance if he's getting double tricks (been 25 man for a while now). Also paladin isn't the most damage oriented tanking spec unless they reforge/gem into a more crit heavy set up, whereas stuff like Warriors and Guardians wreck stuff naturally, at least from my observations. JuanJuany 2 Report post Posted August 24, 2014 @Liquid boss damage is 30m difference which I will in no way pass, but even on overall damage is still a feat of strength for me! Good that we dont have a pally or a druid tanking )
Desos 18 Report post Posted August 28, 2014 First I thought of Roshak from Iron Qon when I read the title...Seems like it is not my time but coffee´s. Nevertheless, congrats to your kill.
