This thread is for feedback on our Dragonflight PvP Season 1 guide.

What does "but the upgrades will only affect PvP scaling" and "but the upgrades only affect Gear scaling in PvP, not item level" mean?  Not familiar with what scaling means in this context if the item level is unaffected.  Thanks!

I think this is wrong. Upgrading Honor gear seems to only increase the standard item level, and does not affect the scaled item level you see in Arenas and Battlegrounds. It seems to be fixed at ilvl 411.

the upgrades only affect the PvE item level. The PvP item level would stay the same.
