Where can I find a guide on how to use the mouse / controller most effectively?

I'd like to get started on the right foot in terms of setting hotkeys, using a mouse (or keyboard?) to move, and maybe even buying a different mouse or keyboard to use for WoW. Is there a good guide out there that covers how experienced players do these things? Thanks.
