[Frost] Not enought DMG

I am using the right rotation and a add-on that helps with the rotation(Just to remind me of certain things) and i am sub 100k. It could be that i have my PvP gear mixed in but that shouldnt really be the main cause.

I looked you up on Ask Mr Robot. You have a lot of work to do to optmize your mage. See this link

Also refer to the frost mage section on Icy-Veins, especially talents, glyphs, and rotation.

 

Once you are optimized on Ask Mr Robot, and you think you know your rotation, get on a practice dummy and use it.

While I really like your suggestion, as I can see Icey needs basics instead of advanced things at the moment.

Stop using that addon. It just messes up your proper rotation. You should LEARN the rotation (which is really not that hard) and have proper gear setup. You can read a lot about gearing, enchanting, gemming and reforging on this site: https://www.icy-veins.com/wow/frost-mage-pve-dps-guide

I have already optimized my mage on Ask Mr.Robot about a week or so ago. Which is why i am confused about it, it since has dropped my DPS by 30k almost. Which the gear you probably looked at was my pvp gear not my pve gear.

A small hijack, but related to topic.

 

What should I do with my PBoI proc outside the opener bursting? Bomb refresh, but what after that? Should I blow all BF and FoF procs, or use the proc to build bigger icicles (while not keeping FoF capped ofc).

 

For reference, I'm currently rolling with a mastery build and aiming for a mix build soon.

From my experience there is not alot you can do with your second PBoI proc. You will never bank BF's and FoF's in order to use them on PBoI
