Sargerik 5 Report post Posted September 3, 2014 I know its a whole lotta late in the expansion and in the next few weeks the 6.0 patch will hit and this question will be irrelevant BUT does snappshotting our procs have a major effect on our dots ( SV being the 1 im asking mostly about ) overall to the point of over writing BA,SS or is it more for our major signature shots .. From what I understand about hunter DoTs, damage values are snapshot yes but not haste. So capturing BA/SS with trinkets will boost their damage, but hero/lust won't have any effect on them. To elaborate. both of our DoTs snapshot, but it's a very minor DPS increase, and if you're trying to hard to do it you'll just end up losing DPS.
