[Arcane] Is this enough Mastery?

I'm currently doing heroics and I feel like I'm not doing as much damage as I could be. I'm currently working on Bomb and RoP up-times, Since I know these are the real issues. On fights where I can actually fight targets the whole time I get about 95% uptimes. So this leads me to think this is a gear issue. I'm 571 and have about 87% mastery, self buffed. I know I am using the worst rings for Arcane, but the signet and seal will not drop off thok.

Gear and statistics are a minimal dps gain. I know some insane guy who did Arcane with Crit > Mastery > Haste and still ranked quite highly.

So i'd say focus more on in-game things like rotation and when to use AoE and you would see a gain in that way!

You wouldn't happen to know how much crit, mastery, or haste he had at ilvl 571 would you?

Crit > 2500 Haste > Mastery iirc. So through stat alocation I'd guess 19000 Crit, 2500 Haste, 15000 mastery? Something crazy

Hey i have same problem i try all specc Frost arcane and fire, i have read alot of  topics
in frost i make arround 200k-130k and wen CD is up, all time in fight i do 140k-150k all round 

Arcane i mare around 150k-180k but i can stay all fight in 170k.
in fire 100k-150k beacouse i dont have much crit

 

I have spend alot gold and time for understand what best i can do for i up my dps

 

i have self buff  87% master 
Hit cap 15%

And hastbreak for nether

ilvl its 550

 

but i dont have legendary back i need only farm titans and make  i will go link my armory

However I doubt you can do 300k sustained dps at your ilevel without the cloak.

a) You use Nether Tempest on single target and have a low uptime. Living Bomb is better for single target and you want very high uptime.
b) You also cast too many AM's at high stacks. You reach 4 stacks of profound magic quite often.

You want to Weave between AM and AB (there are multiple posts to find how to do that). Improving what you do and legendary cloak you will see a big increase.

i know alternate right now i will use AM when i have arroud 80% mana and i try use more AB.

 

i use nether beacouse i have haste cap do this spell i need more haste for cap living bomb

As mage haste caps do nothing for us. Always follow Living Bomb for single, NT for Cleave.

 

You use Arcane Barrage when you are at 80% mana. I believe you have not understood the basics of the spec that well :)

Basically head over to the Icy Veins guide (on this site) and give it a good read!

i understand sorry for my englis. my rotation its that.

i only use arcane missiles when i have 4 stack and if i dont have more arcane missiles for use i use arcane barrage.

my rotation its that.

1. Apply  Living Bomb or  Nether Tempest.
   • When you have a large damage-increasing proc (trinkets, weapon enchants, etc.), you can refresh it even if it has a few seconds left. Otherwise, refresh it right before it expires.
2. Cast  Arcane Missiles when you have 4 (and only 4!) stacks of  Arcane Charge.
3. Cast  Arcane Barrage when all the following conditions are met:
   • you have 4 stacks of  Arcane Charge;
   • you have no proc of  Arcane Missiles;
   • you have less than 2 stacks of  Profound Magic (only applicable if you have the Tier 16 2-piece bonus).
4. Cast  Arcane Blast.

If you cast AM at 4 stacks of Arcane Charge then you get  Profound Magic. So you have to cast Arcane Blast at 4 stacks with anything more than 1 stack of Profound Magic.

No.

Cast AB till you reach 4 stacks of Arcane Charge

If you have 2 AM procs:

Cast AM

Cast Arcane Blast

Cast AM

Cast Arcane Blast

If AM reproc's at any time during this cycle redo this untill you are at 4 AC charges, 0 AM, 0 Profound Magic. Then Arcane Barrage and rebuild.
