I'm just trying to reach out to figure out what they're doing wrong. Honestly neither really look to be having any glaring issues. They're a bit sloppy on the opener, and a they aren't so great at not capping embers. After the start though, they're casting pretty reliably inside procs, Crucia is using DS when PBI is up which is quite good. Sikkun needs to get a PBI ASAP. It's going to serve him FAR better than BBoY is. Sikkun's immolate uptime is a bit low. They should both be using glyph'd havoc to aid in the T1 phase in killing the doubts. They're both casting a lot of Shadowburns which is good and a large part of damage they'll do, so that's good. I'd say they need ot make sure they're havocing garrosh as the adds die and spamming shadowburn to aid their opener, and really kind of inflate their dps. Although I don't really see any HUGE problems with your warlocks. I'm sure zagam will be around to find something I've missed. Desos 18 Report post Posted September 15, 2014 (edited) Mhmm, they should seek help on their own. I will try to get the basics done. Maybe your raid should consider to not destroy the desecrated weapons, if you struggle with DPS. From what I saw,this is your second id, where you reliably get into P3 and the majority of your wipes last longer than 3 minutes, so there is still a learning curve. Also you should consider to gear your raid appropriately through hc and not rushing though nhc just to get to Garrosh and have a 3 day wipe fest. NHC is pretty boring, once you´ve seen all the fights on hc. It´s clear you have to carry people, if they don´t have a chance to upgrade their gear. Garrosh is still the endboss of the expansion. Sikkun: Gear He uses an exp + hit gem. Real No-Go. No PBI, but a normal BBoY and a LFR KTT? Get him one asap. He upgraded a normal shoulder piece(4 days ago) over his hc wf head slot, although both are not BIS but the head has mastery on it and a bigger stat budget. Uptime On your last try, he stands around for like a minute and does nothing. No damage or casts. Caster Rule #1 Always be casting. Except your raid lead or monk kite yelled at him to do nothing. Then it´s not his fault. But a cast on Garrosh should not be a problem. CDs He used Dark Soul not on Cooldown and also arranges CDs to not overlap, e.g. right after one DS falls off, he uses his second pot, after that he get´s Heroism and when that´s through, he uses his next DS. He could have combined all three. Also he should have used Havoc more often. Casts Sikkun has a shit- ton of crit and he snapshots high-crit immolate(over 50%), but his uptime on Immolate is horrible. His Chaos Bolts aren´t really strong, on average for 1.1M and his maximum is 1.6 M, although he had everything up in the opener. But to be fair, he has to save ember for the engineer and no PBI. For the best strategy to kill the engineer as a WL, there are several posts here on IV. I never did the engineer on hc, so I would just repeat what is written there. Crucia Gear A little bit reforging nets him more crit and not overcapping on hit so much. Just a minor thing. He should consider getting the Soulstone Glyph. There is nothing more frustrating than a resurrected raid member, who can´t wait and gets back right in the middle of a void to die immediately due to having low life. Casts Pretty good uptime on Immolate. Main damage source is Chaos Bolt, also nice. Since you kill the not empowered weapons, it is hard to tell if he used Havoc often enough, but he used it more often than Sikkun. He still uses RoF late into the fight, atleast on single target, this is not optimal. Even on P3 adds, I find using RoF not so useful, because we had a huge problem with general "splash" damage, which would kill an add and empower the rest, wiping us. CDs PBI trolled him a little bit and he delayed his third DS a bit, thus unsyncing the two buffs. He could have used Lifeblood more often. Please. Please. Much Appreciated. omg ,<Gag Reflex>! Sup bros! Mmmm...sad day. The only name in these logs I know from the my days in Gag is Hogar. Guess everyone else moved on after the ToT break up. The other two posters hit the major high points, I mostly posted because I looked at the log and saw Hogar and then saw it was <Gag Reflex> and wanted to say hi.
