The blunderbuss actually took a HARD nerf with the launch of New World: Aeternum, and when compared to some other DPS options, it may not be as effective. There are definitely still some ways to push out massive damage if used correctly (taking advantage of elements, and even pairing it with the new Elemental Band artifact). If you're interested in hunting for a decent Blunderbuss (or gear for your build), check out this Google Sheet which highlights some useful named items.
