I’ am sorry but I use the word woke all the time. My current house I live in I purchased from 2 of my friends that happen to be a gay couple. Go tell them I’am homophobic and they would prob tell you to go to hell. You’re wrong about the the word woke, most ppl use it as a word to describe ppl that are detached from actual reality.

but even then woulnd it being used in refrence to trans people a bad thing?

the thing is words and there meaning are constantly changing but some things go down in history as something bad and woke will certainly be one of them. the people that want to opress gay and trans people are throwing it at everything that opposes them so using it is just spreading there words and making it more difficult to identify who belongs to them and making them stronger in a sense cause if everyone uses it even tho diffrent groups use it for diffrent context it cant be so bad what they say right? thats how it goes.

i would say 80% of the people i see that use the word are terfs and homophobes not because they use the word but because of the other things they say and like this it becomes part of there way of thinking.

but to be honest that all very difficult cause you say most people use it this way but i see mostly people using it that way. but i would say if we see bad people using that word we might just dont use it

just like the words "nazi" and "racists" Woke is used so much these days for so many things it has no real meaning anymore

It's really funny to me when people say this has only happened in the last few years. I guess stories like X-Men were also "woke" when they came out in the 60's, because they were an allegory for discrimination. Or all these cartoons from the 80's that had diverse cast, but what was considered diverse back then has changed. People typically don't notice these things when they are younger and they start complaining when media are different from what they considered as normal when they were younger. Of course, it can be done in a bad way too, corporations don't care about any representation or ideology, if they are doing this, it's because they are thinking that this is what is going to sell and attract wider audience.

Which is also wrong, because original meaning of woke was about being aware of discrimination. But now people are using it to describe anything they don't like.

Anyway, back to the topic, it would have been nice if they added more voices to choose from, but it seems unlikely.

I think this will be a nice touch to reflect character individuality.  Played a few Korean mmo's that had similar features and I think it's rather nice if Blizzard would offer the same in return.  I'll look forward to this once it is rolled out.

I haven't seen comments on an article go to 2 pages in a while. Kinda weird that people are having a political debate about voice options. That said, I want my orc to have the squeaky voice of a gnome.

I hope this is beyond "Male to Female" etc. Would be much cooler to be able to choose any voice type for your toon.
- but I also want all hairstyles for all races/genders, and I would love to be an undead druid...
