Delaila 4 Report post Posted September 27, 2014 (edited) I might be doing some silver cms as a boomie,have just healed them before on gold so im wondering as a dps shuld i generally use my cds on trah or on bosses and shuld i use the trinket from shamans or the crit one from ti? Kazistrasz 216 Report post Posted September 27, 2014 Any trinket from Siege of Orgrimmar is going to be ineffective in CMs. My recommendations, if you're going in as a boomkin (also, why silver?), are to use the Volatile Talisman and Yu'lon's Bite. Generally speaking, there are certain trash packs that need to be nuked, but also times when bosses need to be nuked. Having only 3-min CDs is just one more reason boomkins are ineffective in CMs. It's really up to what your group needs when you're using your CDs. Im doing silver to help my bf to get the mount (he dosent want the trabsmog) and one of the dps wanted to come on her shammy alt and i dont know if it is a healer or dps so i figured i should prepere for going dps and not healer as i usally do. Kazistrasz 216 Report post Posted September 27, 2014 Regardless of what she's normally set for, she should go DPS (ele preferably) and let you heal. Druids are MUCH better suited to healing, and shammies have among the best toolkits as a DPS for running CMs. Best thing to do if you actually are going to DPS is to start researching and watching videos.
