Resto druid "Tell me when" help

Hey guys.. Pretty new to the icy-veins forums.. I just got back to the game after only being 8/14 hm 5 months ago... and Before I join a heroic guild.. I want to improve my performance by keeping a good uptime on my harmony and lifebloom on tanks..

My question is... Does anyone here that uses the add-on tell me when, know how set up so that the add on will tell me if I have or don't have lifebloom on tanks?

I had a look at my logs and some fights my harmony would only be around 60‰ uptime... And some about 90%... And my lifebloom uptime is just so bad... I want to be consistent by having them both above 90 or nearly 100%..

Is this possible or is there any add on to track this...? Sorry for my poor English.. And thanks in advance for the help..

Well, personally I find weak auras much more manageable to use.  For this specific problem though, I had to find one online becasue I couldnt make one work correctly.

 

Here's what it looks like and here is the weak auras import

Basically this aura goes away when you have exactly one lifebloom out on your group. If you have 0 or more than 1 lifebloom (tree of life) it will show up.

 

Now it doesn't care who you have lifebloom on,  just tells you that you don't have one out on the raid.

Yes it can. As far as I've reasearched, weak auras is like an addon for making addons. You can code up a lot of things, but it requires practise for that. As for tell me when - it's a bit simplier version of auras. It gives you UI for setting up things, which is easier than coding.
 
Here's a string for tell me when to track harmony. I'm not using lifebloom (yeah, I know, I'm a bad heal) in raids, and if I do I track it elsewhere. But later I could make an icon for lifebloom.

Weak auras is just so much more powerful, I would really love to find something TellMeWhen does that weak auras cant. Which, I think the only thing is some more complicated stuff WeakAuras would need custom code where TellMeWhen would have a UI for it.

 

Regardless, I love messing with custom code and can pretty much almost make anything I want.  Ask away and we can show you how to make auras.

I'm using TellMeWhen for one simple reason - I've got that going for me. When I was in need of a such addon, I've found TellMeWhen, configured it, and now I'm just too lazy to switch to weakauras. I guess WoD will be the breakpoint to do so :)

Weak auras are usually easy to find. When you can't find them, it's rare that making one is hard. When you get into it, you can usually find something close and tweak it.

I don't have one for harmony or lifebloom, because I just naturally do those, but in my resto guide here I have a bunch of others you may find useful.

Hey krazyito.. I was watching your UI when you where solo healing the top part of dark shaman.. I was wondering what that bar is under your raid frames.. With all the cds.. Is that weak aura or a different add on? Can I have the string for it?

Yea its just weak auras. I originally got them from watching Affinitii's stream way back at the start of MoP.

Cool thanks for that krazyito! And is there anyway.. To make this green "harmony missing" reminder from this site show up 4 secs before harmony loses its duration? Instead of showing when it's ran out of duration?

Go into the trigger part of the WA.

 

Add Trigger

 

At the top, set it to Any Trigger.

 

Trigger Type: Aura

 

Aura Name: Harmony

 

Aura Type: Buff

 

Time Remaining <= 4

 

That will make it show the WA if Harmony is missing OR if harmony has 4 seconds or less remaining.

A little old, but setting up a Tellmewhen for Lifebloom alert is easy, just put "raid 1-40; party 1-4; player; focus" in the "Units to watch" field.

 

Here's an example:
