Ivresse 0 Report post Posted October 13, 2014 (edited) I posted about this in the paladin 6.0 transition guide, but it's worth mentioning this for the other classes as well. I've noticed that the Icy-veins 6.0 guides are listing purely Mists of Pandaria related enchants as their recommended enchants for 6.0 (e.g. Enchant Cloak - Superior Critical Strike). This is actually incorrect. Enchants are currently in a flux at the moment due to the stat-squish. This has led to enchants that are pre-MoP being just as powerful or in some cases superior to the enchants from MoP. For example, Enchant Cloak - Greater Critical Strike, which is a Cataclysm enchant, provides 13 critical strike compared to Superior Critical Strike's 12 crit strike. Enchant Boots - Surefooted, which is a TBC enchant, gives 10 crit strike and 10 haste, compared to Enchant Boots - Greater Haste's 11 haste. It also affects leg enchants as well, if you compare MoP’s Shadowleather Leg Armor (19 agility, 11 crit) to Cataclysm’s Scorched Leg Armor (28 attack power, 23 crit). It may be worth Icy-veins look over their enchants tables for their class guides and check the enchants for previous expansions so that they list the more superior ones… Edited October 13, 2014 by SingingPaladin
Berlinia 168 Report post Posted October 13, 2014 Personally I believe this is abit too much accounting work for a very small gain. Might consider though. Thanks for the post.
Damien 1,514 Report post Posted October 15, 2014 If that doesn't get fixed in the next few days, then we'll change the enchants, but I would rather not change the enchant tables for something that is obviously unintended.
