Holy Paladin 6.2

your bis makes no sense. first of all you have the all seeing eye ring listed as bis (even tho not acquirable as a paladin at all..tho some paladins (cough) are able to get it anyway) secondly , since 6.1 all "bis " trinkets, rings , cloaks and necks that drop from raid finder have been removed from the loot table for all healers due to blizzard forcing spirit down our throats via personal loot and brolls. on top of this, you are not able to broll for said gear at all anymore and are stuck with competing not only with warriors, dks and other pladins but every other class in the game if you want these items and they happen to drop the old fashion way - but wait, blizzard is talking about making healers and tanks  not even capable of doing this anymore - and forcing more bonus armour and spirit down our throats when we don't really need it.

face it, the days of customizing your character outside enchantments are basically over and this and any bis list has become next to impossible to shop for.

Well lets see most fights I am starved for Mana at least 1/2 way into the fight, oh and those lovely trinkets you think will help you, umm not so much since they really only work if you stop healing and start attacking. So Blizzard's choice to make spirit the only for healers is actually a good one. Last piece of info here look the amount of spirit trinkets is very low vs the casting trinkets.

It is updated, but note:

Yep there not updated so I still ask when will these be updated for 6.1 with the crafted gear changes and corrected ilvl patches that Blizzard applied.

(For example like all gear drops from brf normal are now 670 instead of 665 and crafted gear has 4 crafted stages now weapons and shields max ilvl at stage 4 is 675 and gear now has a max ilvl at stage 4 is 685 Trinkets, Neck,  rings, and Armor)

in stat priority you have int>crit>haste>multi, yet you say in gearing up/BIS  "When using the 4-Part Set Bonus, the best choice is for your hand item to be a non-set item" the gloves have haste/multistrike. ive always felt that the chest would be the least desireable since it was haste/mastery

Selfless Healer is by far not "not at all viable"...  It may be not at all viable with your personal playstyle, however it is REALLY easy to keep tossing out judgments on a boss or adds or any enemy.  Just one stack, increases your FoL by 35% and reduces its cast time and mana cost by 35% as well.  but it is very simple to stack this all the way to 3 stacks, essentially having a a mini Lay on Hands that can easily crit on a target for over 250k.  This can also of course transfer to your 2 Beacons, for 125k each, totaling a 500k heal in one instant cast (this is not including multistrikes, btw).  Not to mention, redundantly again, that you do not "need" to have 3 stacks of this for it to be effective and very useful.

It saves mana, its powerful, its instant or very close to instant cast, and the best part is that it can be cast at its full potential aproximately every 18 seconds.

I went over to the Resto Shaman post here on Icy Veins.  You guys put Ancestral Swiftness as, and I quote, "Ancestral Swiftness is also a good choice and a viable alternative to wow_icon_ability_shaman_echooftheelementEcho of the Elements. It adds 5% to one of your best secondary statistics (Haste) and it gives you an instant cast single-target heal or wow_icon_spell_nature_giftofthewaterspirHealing Rain."

I'll add to that last sentance though, that it gives you an instant cast every minute and a half.  It doesn't increase the healing done by that spell, it doesn't save mana for that spell, it can only be used every minute and a half.  Versus Selfless Healer that can be used every 18 seconds, making your spell instant, free, and beefed up like crazy???  I didn't even mention that Infusion of Light also adds to the effectiveness of Selfless Healer if you use it on your FoL, or you can combo up a fast Holy Light followed by an instant FoL.

No matter which way you slice it, if you can't find room to cast Judgment on a random enemy target while you heal.... you're just aren't doing something right, or you're just plain lazy.  Especially considering that Selfless Healer has the potential to snipe heal and save lives.  I've prevented so many deaths in raids, dungeons and PvP with a well timed LoH beefed up with three stacks of Selfless Healer.  And isn't that really what its all about as a healer at the end of the day?

I ask you this simple question; would you replace Lay on Hands with anything else?  How many times have you saved someone with LoH?  And yet, it puts Forberance on the target afterwards, it is a 5 minute CD... etc.. etc..  The honest answer is you wouldn't replace LoH for anything even remotely similar to Eternal Flame or Sacred Shield.

Selfless Healer destroys either of the other two choices in that tier, hands down.

selfless healer !!!!  not good

6.2 trinket archimonde +88 or 101 % + 1/2/3 stack of SH >>> FOL is a lifeguard for all member in my raid.

but i think people doesnt like to judge but prefer cast EF  for a passiv heal ...  Sh is a active  & reactive  game play  ..

Count me in with the people that think "SH is not at all viable" is extremely misleading. The talent is quite useful, especially if you have a bunch of haste, the archimonde class trinket, and don't have a good version of Demonic Phylactery.

Being able to use Intuition's Gift, cast: HS - Judgement - FoL - XXX (where XXX can be LoD, Holy Prism, another flash of light, etc) without going OoM is pretty powerful healing especially on fights that have debuffs that absorb healing like Fel Lord and Tyrant where the supercharged FoLs won't overheal.

This guide is out of date. To say that Selfless Healer is not viable at all is completely incorrect and dangerously misleading. In terms of raw HPS, SH is in fact the best talent in the tier (especially with the Demonic Phylactery and Libram of Vindication equipped.)

I start use SH  in pandaria and never have problem with hps and EF paladins, and now SH is HPS other pala killer.

Sorry about guide being out of date. I haven't actually played WoW since August and Selfless Healer wasn't used during Midwinter progression! I've let the Icy Vein guys know that I won't be continuing to review and update the guide as it's unfair to the readers of the guide.

Hopefully someone steps up soon! :D

We have another triple entry in the hotfix ledger, as Radiant Echoes gets more improvements in retail, while Season of Discovery and Cata Classic get additional class changes.
       August 7  (Source)
      Player-characters
Steady Flight should no longer be removed after entering an Arena. Quests
We tuned up the Prototype Shredder MK-03 so that “Eye for an Eye” can be completed. Radiant Echoes Event
Increased Flightstone and upgrade Crest drop rates in the event. Reduced the HP scaling on all event bosses so that they should be killable in a more-reasonable timeframe. Developers’ notes: This includes both ‘minibosses’ (e.g. Hogger, Thorim) and final bosses (e.g. Remembered Onyxia, Ragnaros). Season of Discovery
Hunter Heart of the Lion once again has a 100 yard range. Warrior The Focused Rage rune will now correctly reduce the cost of Meathook by 3. Cataclysm Classic
Fixed an issue where Faerie Fire did not deal intended amounts of threat when used on NPCs targeting another unit.

Due to a bug introduced with the War Within pre-patch, some players are receiving item level 250 gear from the weekly cache.
We've seen numerous reports on Reddit and the official forums that the Last Hurrah weekly quest on live servers drop low-level gear for some players. Apparently, the bug was first introduced with the War Within pre-patch two weeks ago and still hasn't been fixed.
Here's an example of a low item level drop from the Cache of Awakened Treasures by Omnifox.

Week 2 brings quite a few changes, as Hunters in particular rise up, while Shadow has a really bad time. The top 3 remains the same and very consistent, so let's jump in and see what's going on.
      Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing, meaning they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor, but a much, much smaller one, as it grants very few points if you do it significantly faster than just any in-time completion. We're also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity, meaning the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
      All Keys
      95th percentile DPS
The top 3 remains quite stable with the Evoker-Paladin-Warrior trio reigning supreme. We see the first change of the week right after that though, as Frost DK continues its upward march in dungeons as well as in raids, taking 4th from Elemental. Both DKs are on the rise, as Unholy also moves a spot up, taking advantage of Shadow's precipitous 5-spot fall to the bottom of the top 10. Arms remains stable as two Hunters burst in, Beast Mastery taking 8th and Marksmanship 9th, as Frost Mage disappears down towards the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, Devastation gets some new roommates there, as Outlaw and Destruction fall and give Enhancement and Feral a break.

Mythic+ All Keys 95th Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      All Percentiles
As with the top percentiles, the top 3 remains solid, but 4th is immediately changed, thanks to Shadow's massive drop in performance this week. The Priest loses even more ground here, falling 9 spots into 13th, opening 4th up for Arms. Beast Mastery moves even higher here, grabbing 5th and moving in front of Elemental and Frost DK, as Marksmanship brings up the rear and completes the Hunter sandwich in 8th. Affliction breaks into the top 10, just ahead of Unholy which dropped to the final spot.

Mythic+ All Keys All Percentile Data by Warcraft Logs.
      Raw DPS U.GG DPS Rankings
U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks.
Frost DK finds itself on top in the raw DPS rankings, as Augmentation isn't calculated properly here. Fury and Arms grab the next two spots, moving ahead of Ret, and the Fyr'alath wins continue in 5th, where Unholy finished the legendary axe streak. Even Survival joins the Hunter good times in 8th, where all three specs gather, just ahead of Balance who closes out the top 10.
Mythic+ All Keystone DPS rankings by u.gg.

For even more in-depth data for each individual key head on over to Warcraft Logs. And if you're interested in more info on the specs themselves you can always check out our class guides (updated for the pre-patch), as well as our Mythic+ guides and Mythic+ tier list.

MoP Remix characters that will transfer over to retail will receive a gear boost!
With Patch 11.0.2 now live on Public Test Realms, you can copy over MoP Remix characters from retail! It appears all MoP Remix characters will receive a character boost so you can dive straight into action when the War Within expansion launches.

We can't unfortunately log in to the game with the MoP Remix char on the PTR so we can't confirm the Item Level of gear for max level characters. However, keep in mind that the gear boost will scale with your level, so if you're below max cap, you will receive gear appropriate to your current level.
When Can We Expect MoP Remix Characters to Transfer to Retail?
MoP Remix ends on August 19, so we assume the characters will need to be transferred to retail by August 22 when Early Access begins.
