Dwarves also get Desperate prayer, so we're comparing +5% spirit (good) to Stone form (situational, but good) + Fear ward (end game wonder). Hey Dev. you're right about those things - Devouring Plague is extremely expensive mana wise and not super efficient while leveling unless you're needing extra damage on a boss type mob that is able to be effected by diseases which is why there isn't much written on it. The Troll lightning shield can definitely be useful and was an oversight on my part not including mention of Shadow Guard. I appreciate you checking out the guide!
