Question about dps classes in 6.0.2

Recommended Posts

Last night, when watching people attack the target dummies at the Shrine of seven stars, people only attacked the level 90 dummy, and for the people who were attacking the raid target dummy, they missed nearly every hit(melee/spell dps). I know that hit/exper was removed, but is there something to make up for it, or can you only check L90 raid dps now by attacking the L90 target dummy?

As with every new expansion, the target dummies scale.  This means that the raid dummies you see are actually lvl 103 instead of 93 as they were before the patch.

Ah, okay. That makes much more sense. I guess dps can only be checked by the L90 dummies, now.

There are still a MoP Raid Dummies, they are called Sha of Pride and Garrosh :)

Question: How do you compare your MoP DPS against 6.0.2 DPS? I want to know if the new 6.0.2 playstyle is a dps increase or decrease. Probably be fixed with the WoD perks.

From what I've seen in 10n/heroic SoO raids, it seems to be a dps increase, since it is more balanced now. I may be wrong, but along with dps, the heals in 10n/25n/heroic have also been much more stronger as well, but I'll find out more this weekend when I run 10H SoO.
