The beloved Moogle Treasure Trove event makes its return in October! Hunt for Goetia and get your Donut Earring, Gwiber Trumpet, and more!
While the wait for patch 7.1 in Mid-November may feel long, you will have plenty of activities to do with the New Moogle Treasure Trove Event!
The Moogle Treasure Trove: Hunt for Goetia, will start on Tuesday October 15th, 2024 at 8:00 GMT (19:00 AEDT) to the release of Patch 7.1 scheduled for mid-November.
During the event, you will be able to collect Goetia Tomestones by completing specific duties and activites, and exchange them for rare and exclusive items, such as the Donut Earring, Innocent Gwiber Mount, Hades Barding, Hairstyles, Emotes, other various mounts, minions, and much more!

This event is a great opportunity for all players to enjoy various content and activities you usually don't dedicate too much time to.
During the event, you will have access to your Mogpendium:

The Mogpendium has all the details needed for collecting Tomestones. Instead of merely having several types of dungeons to farm, you will have multiple ways to obtain the Goetia Tomestones:
Standard Objectives: this is the regular way of earning Tomestones. Simply complete the required duties (which will feature a moogle icon in the duty finder). Additionally, you can now also get tomestones from GATEs (the Gold Saucer events) and Ocean Fishing routes. However, keep in mind that Tomestones are not rewarded when using adventurer squadrons or duty support, as the Level Sync option must be used for unrestricted parties. You will also need to score at least 1200 points when ocean fishing to earn Tomestones. Weekly Objectives: Weekly objectives will be assigned to each player, and updated every Tuesday at 8:00am (GMT). You can check your weekly objectives through the Mogpendium, and completing them will earn you additional Tomestones. Minimog Challenges: You will have to select one of two objectives, which can only be fulfilled once every week. It's a way to complete a variety of challenges during the event that you wouldn't normally do. Minimog challenges will also reset on Tuesday at 08:00 am (GMT). Ultimog Challenges: These challenges can only be completed once during the duration of the event. They will give you a significant amount of tomestones, so it is worth trying your luck! You can check the Mogpendium at any given time during the event. Standard Objective rewards are automatically added to your inventory when you complete the duties, while the Weekly, Minimog and Ultimog Challenges will have to be claimed through the Mogpendium.

Once you have enough Tomestones, head to the usual Itinerant Moogle to exchange them for rewards! You can find one near the main Crystal in each of the starting cities: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks, New Gridania, and Ul’dah Steps of Nald.

For more information, and the complete list of rewards you can obtain, visit the Official Moogle Treasure Trove: The Hunt for Goetia Website.
Moreover, should you need some help with your hunts, check out our Moogle Treasure Trove Event Guide, where you can find specific routes or duties to farm, as well as the most efficient ways to do so!

With the new Chaotic Alliance Raids, players have started to speculate about how other bosses will appear in their chaotic forms. One particular boss stands out!
Chaotic Alliance Raids have finally been announced, and the first one will feature the Cloud of Darkness Boss. This news has players excited about the new battle content, but some are also apprehensive about what future chaotic raids might entail.
Many players are still haunted by a particular boss from the past. The Ridorana Lighthouse, part of the Return to Ivalice level 70 Alliance Raid from Stormblood, includes a boss that requires players to use math to survive the fight.

Construct 7 is a boss that continues to challenge groups because the math involved in one of its mechanics is often misunderstood. At a certain point, players must calculate their health value and step into the correct circle to obtain the required value:
Divide by Four: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by four. Divide by Five: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by five. Divide by Three: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is divisible by three. Indivisible: Stand in a circle so that your current health plus the circle’s value is a prime number. While it does not seem complicated, the reality is that you have very little time to figure it out, which can lead to complications. Players have speculated about the math for future chaotic versions of this raid, ranging from basic math, to more complex equations:
What boss are you expecting the most for the new Alliance Chaotic raids?

Patch 7.1: Crossroads has been scheduled for November with a brand new story, an alliance raid, and a new form of content: the chaotic alliance raid! Find out more here!
During Tokyo Game Show 2024, Yoshi-P revealed that Final Fantasy XIV Patch 7.1 will release Mid-November 2024!
You can re-watch the live letter here, if you missed it:
While a specific date is not known yet, he has also given a lot of information on the content that will release with this patch. Here is a breakdown of everything you can expect to come with Patch 7.1: Crossroad:
New Main Scenario Quest: It seems that the story will revolve more around Gulool Ja Ja. New Allied Society Quests: Time to help out The Pelupelu!
New Custom Deliveries: Nitowikwe will be happy to receive your deliveries. Additional Role Quests. Additional Wachumeqimeqi Quests. Inconceivably Further Hildibrand Adventures. New Game + Support for 7.0. Duty Support:  Support for non-main scenario quest dungeons to be implemented moving forward. Support for Halatali will be added in 7.1. Hall of the Novice Updates: Training for specific battle mechanics will be added. This will unlock at level 49. PvP Updates: Extensive update to PvP action execution and hit detection. PvP job action additions and adjustments. Arena improvements for the Red Sands and Cloud Nine. Balance adjustments for Frontline and Rival Wings. PvP Series 7 begins. New Dungeon: Yuweyawata Field Station:
New Trial: The Minstrel's Ballad: Sphene's Burden. New Unreal Trial: The Jade Stoa (Unreal). New Ultimate Raid: Futures Rewritten (Ultimate). One of the most awaited additions is the New Alliance Raid Series: Echoes of Vana'Diel! The first phase will be titled Jeuno: The First Walk:

With the announcement of the Alliance Raid, Yoshi-P also revealed brand-new battle content: The Chaotic Alliance Raid! The first Chaotic Alliance Raid will be The Cloud of Darkness (Chaotic):

Yoshi-P stated that those raids will be much harder than the normal Alliance Raid. It will be some sort of Savage Raid but with 24 players. You will not have to run through trash to get to the boss like in the normal Alliance raids, you will immediately face the boss. In this case, Cloud of Darkness.
The fight will require heavy teamwork between all three alliances, and pre-made parties will likely be required to make it through the fight. Yoshi-P has also revealed that a special reward will be granted to players who overcome this fight. The guess would be on armor or mounts. Not much more has been revealed about it for now, but it is very exciting news!
Finally, the following Miscellaneous updates will also be made to the game:
Doman Mahjong Update: Voice reactions and commentary from the Scions will be added. Housing Update: Selected interior designs from different residential areas regardless of the location of your plot. New interior designs will be added.

Raiding can be a stressful experience, especially when you are just starting and have no idea how it works. Here is info on a very useful, new server to help you on your journey!
Final Fantasy XIV Sprouts can sometimes have a hard time getting into any Savage Raids. Whether it is difficulty in grouping up, stress, expectations, or the pressure of failure, many things can come into play, and some may never find a group to start savage raiding.
This is why some EU players have created a Discord server dedicated to helping Sprouts with their first time raiding Savage!
Join the Warriors of Wipe Discord Server and start your official raiding journey!
The discord offers the following features:
Weekend Savage Raids: The specific raid is decided during the week, and each raid group will have a Mentor joining. The Mentor will take the time to explain the raid, call the shots, teach mechanics, answer any questions, and generally ensure everything runs smoothly and everyone is having a good time! Teach the basics of savage raiding and how high-end raids work in FFXIV. No pressure to perform perfectly. "Unofficial" raids during the week between users if they want to, however there is no guarantee a Mentor will be present during these. Sprouts, Mentors, and Helpers can join and participate. Voice is not required, simply encouraged, but listening is enough. Ultimate Raids are not done officially, but members may schedule runs during the week. Raids on EU servers only for the time being. The server is not explicitly a static or a recruiting server, but simply a casual collection of folks you can sign up to raid with! The focus of the Discord is really to remove stress and anxiety from entering raiding, and also less focus on being super optimized, even if good habits are encouraged!
Members have given us some original feedback, stating that the server has helped them get through Savage, motivated them to aim for more end-game content, gained confidence, and provided a place where they can feel safe even when they mess up during a fight. It offers all the advantages of a static without the constraints of having to commit to a strict raiding schedule. If you are looking for nice, patient, and understanding people to start raiding with, this is the right place!
Once again, you can join the Warriors of Wipe Discord Server Here!
