Damien 1,514 Report post Posted January 7, 2015 Do I have to clear the whole raid (LFR/Normal/HC/Mythic), or a just a boss or two, or is it enougth to just have entred the raid? I think you need to have killed just 1 boss. I have 25 followers...but I am after the Commander Achievment. How do I go about recruiting the other 15? I mean, can I just go out and recruit 15 more or will I be unable to while I have 25 functioning followers? Do I need to somehow disable some of the existing 25 to recruit more? I've checked all over and can't find any info. If you have 25 followers and recruit a new one, then you will end up with 26 followers and you will be unable to start new missions until you disable one of them. You have to have killed 12 bosses on said difficulty for the mission to proc. From what i gather the cooldown period on the mission is about 2 weeks. siggboy 0 Report post Posted February 8, 2015 (edited) With regards to which missions you can safely fail, and which not, the guide could be more specific: Generally, every mission costs resources (at least 10), and resources are what constrains your garrison expansion later on. Theres a cap to how many resources per day you can generate, even if you commit a lot of time to the game. In that sense, every mission converts resources into something else, sometimes more resources, but usually follower XP or gold (items count as gold in my book, since most of them are temporary and end up being disenchanted or vendored). If a mission allows you to gain more resources, it should not be failed. All other missions should only be taken if the expected XP or gold gain is in a good relation to the resource cost of the mission. So basically, as long as you have enough resources to expand your garrison, you can fail as many missions as you want without a real detrimental effect. That's what the guide should point or more clearly. And, of course, sometimes you have to deliberately fail missions in order to quickly replace them with better ones, as it sometimes happens that you get a bad draft of missions for which you don't have the followers to complete them with a high chance of success. The resource drain that entails should be kept in mind in those cases. Rare or "epic" missions are of course an exception to this, you never want to fail those. Thanks for the feedback, I'll add details to that section of the guide. That said, I disagree with your general "as long as you have enough resources to expand your garrison, you can fail as many missions as you want without a real detrimental effect". Even if you have more than enough resources, there are still missions you don't want to fail (level 100 missions with XP for you non-epic followers, raid missions, follower upgrade missions, etc.). Damien 1,514 Report post Posted March 19, 2015 On one of my toons, the BRF missions appeared after I reached Item Level 660 on them, even though my toon had never set foot in BRF.
