wow Amirdrassil 10.2.5 Raid DPS Log Rankings, Week 2: Big Tuning Results

We finally get to see the results of the most recent big class tuning pass, and the effects are pretty significant! While the very top isn't changed, Paladins and Warriors are the major winners, and we could be seeing them go even higher soon too! Let's dive into it all.

Important Note: we're switching over to Normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it's AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.

Mythic

Overall Damage 95th Percentile

The class tuning has taken effect and there's plenty of changes, but not quite at the very top. Both Subtlety and Demonology remain strong in 1 and 2, with the Warlock actually catching up quite a bit and giving the Rogue a run for its money. Arcane is the first mover, as it gains a spot despite not getting any changes in the tuning, but as players get more and more gear and fights get shorter and shorter, the spec always does better. Havoc remains the rock of the top 5, and even moves up a spot this week, but it's been in 4th and 5th for months now. Affliction drops 2 spots right behind the Demon Hunter, as Outlaw rises 1 after it.

And just then we see the first big change of the tuning, as Retribution made its way into the top 10, rising a gigantic 14 spots from the bottom, right into 7th place! Fury moves to No.8 without any tuning help, followed by Fire, and we then see another buff enjoyer, as Arms closes out the top 10, climbing out of the bottom 3 and gaining 13 spots! Speaking of the bottom, we have Survival join the gang as Arms departs, with Augmentation dead-last as always, through no fault of its own.

Overall Damage All Percentiles

We have a flip at the top in the generalist bracket, as Demonology overtakes Subtlety! Havoc is even more ambitious here as it moves 2 up into 3rd, with Outlaw taking the same 2-spot step up in 5th. Retribution is doing even better in this bracket, also coming up from the bottom of the rankings and climbing a huge 14 spots into 6th! Fury rises more here as well, 2 up into 7th, just ahead of Enhancement with its own 4-spot leap. Affliction had to move down 6 to make room for all this, as it finds itself in 9th, as Arms closes out the top 10 right behind it, another huge improvement thanks to the tuning - 13 spots gained. Marksmanship finds itself down in the dumps as the latest addition to the Augmentation-Feral combo.

Boss Only Damage All Percentiles

The Paladin has really moved up in the direct damage chart, getting all the way to 3rd from the lower end of the pack previously, moving in just behind Enhancement, who also moved up, but only by 1. Unholy also made a big move from the middle of the pack into 6th, with Arms right behind it getting the biggest boost from the tuning, gaining 16 spots. Shadow makes an appearance in 8th, 8 spots up with some tuning help, as the Druids close out the top 10.

Heroic

Overall Damage All Percentiles

Arcane is not letting go of its top spot from 10.2, as it takes down Subtlety in No.1! Retribution was always doing a lot better in Heroic, but now it's right up there, all the way up in 5th. Unholy and Arms take good advantage of their buffs and move up in the world, with the DK in 9th and Arms in 12th.

U.GG Raw DPS Rankings

U.gg's rankings are based on actual DPS taken from Warcraft Logs data, focusing on the top players and span the past two weeks. This chart is for  Mythic only.

It seems we'll have to wait a little longer for the full effects of the tuning to arrive in the u.gg charts, as they're looking at a 2-week average. Nonetheless, there are changes here anyway, with Fire grabbing 2nd, Fury moving into 4th, with both of them, and Affliction, moving past Demonology. We do see Retribution start moving up, 4 spots higher in 9th, so we should be seeing it even higher next week. Arms has not gotten the tuning benefits yet here at all, actually dropping 2 spots instead.
