Iridar 80 Report post Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) I'd like to point out that level 2-3 mines produce way more ore than you could possibly need for your crafting professions' dailies, and even if you would need an ungodly amount of ore for some reason, you can get it very cheap on auction house, so there's little to no reason to waste a follower slot by making a follower work in a mine. I disagree that you can get enough from the mine for both professions, not if you have Engineering and Jewelcrafting, in which case there are days where you simply don't have enough Blackrock Ore. As far as I know there's no level requirement to learn any of the plans, but you may need a level 3 town hall in order to upgrade to the level 3 mine, and that would require level 100. The only difference a follower adds is the output, which is based on they're level from 90-100, with each level offering a chance to yield 2x the normal yield, with 90 being a low chance and 100 being 100%.
