Patch 7.1 Crossroads brings the exciting new Alliance Raid, "Echoes of Vana'diel - Jeuno: The First Walk." But how different will this raid be compared to the original Final Fantasy XI game?
This update introduces the collaboration between Final Fantasy XI and Final Fantasy XIV for the Dawntrail Alliance Raid: Echoes of Vana'diel - Jeuno: The First Walk.
Reddit user RionSmash has shared some pictures that give insight into the differences between the original FFXI game and the new alliance raid for FFXIV.
The raid pays homage to the city of Jeuno from Final Fantasy XI, a central hub known for its bustling activity and significant role in the game's lore. Players familiar with FFXI will notice key landmarks and architectural styles recreated with updated graphics and design for FFXIV.
Despite the updated aesthetics, the essence of Jeuno remains recognizable! The new raid gear also mirrors the iconic FFXI designs, adding a nostalgic touch for long-time players. This alliance raid gives FFXI a well-deserved glow-up!
The development team has aimed to create a raid that not only challenges players but also celebrates the rich history of Final Fantasy XI. This includes incorporating elements like traditional music themes from FFXI, reimagined for the new raid.
The raid will release on November 12th, 2024, with patch 7.1!
