Learn more about the Earthen Allied Race intro!

I played through the Earthen Allied Race intro on the Beta and wanted to share some highlights with you.

Your Earthen character starts at Level 10 in the Halls of Awakening. Essentially, your character wakes up from stasis and completes a few basic quests to get teleported to Stormwind and Orgrimmar. If you were hoping for an epic Demon Hunter-style intro, you might be a bit disappointed. This intro is brief, taking about four minutes to complete. However, its brevity can be a good thing, depending on your preference.

At the start, there's a cutscene, but in the Beta, it's currently just text.

The gist: Your character awakens from stasis before Dawn and Foreman Uzjax.

This is the area where you'll be completing the Earthen intro. It's called the Halls of Awakening.

For the first quest you must complete the first stage of the Awakening Protocol, by clicking on various machines in the room.

The Awakening Protocol consists of a Diagnostics Scan, Cognitive Scan, and Anomaly Scan.

When completing the Anomaly Scan, you'll learn that you're an anomaly machine causing the systems to overdrive.

You must click on the Inner Song Inner Song action button to break free from the chains.

Once you complete the first quest you will receive the Azerite Surge Azerite Surge racial and you'll get to another room where you must complete the Analyzing Sequence in the Analysis Interface.

There are three consoles that you must interact with and select whatever options you'd like. The dialogue options seemed pretty random.

Anyway, once you complete that, you'll reach another room where you have to spar 6 Awakened Earthen.

In the final room, you must defeat the Phalanx of Authorization.

When you hand it the quest, you will get the Awakened Tabard Awakened Tabard.

When you're done, you will use a portal to your faction city and end up at the embassy.

Wow this is giga slim lol. I think the dark irons have more intro than this.

None of the other allied races have anything like this, they're just "alright, here's our history now go see Chromie in Orgrimmar or Stormwind". This is vastly different

I think you meant their recruitment scenario. All allied races have same short intros, they don't have actual starting zones with quests.

Maybe I'm thinking of that. I just remember doing quests and leaving Blackrock Depths and going back a few times.

Learn how to travel effortlessly between Dornogal and Azj-Kahet in the War Within.
In the War Within, traveling directly between Dornogal, the new central hub, and Azj-Kahet is seamless. You'll find a marked tunnel location on your map that serves as a portal. It's unclear whether you need to reach a specific level of Renown with the Severed Threads Warband faction to access this portal, as it wasn't in earlier versions of the game. A quick look at the Renown rewards didn't list it as one of the rewards.
The tunnel entrance is located here in Dornogal.

Once you use the portal, you will arrive near the Weaver's Lair in Azj-Kahet. The portal allows for travel in both directions.

The new character select screen might seem like it limits your Warband to only four characters, but that’s not the case!
When you check out the new character select screen in the War Within, you’ll notice only four characters around the campfire. On the right side, there's a list showing these four characters. This layout led many to believe that you need to drag and drop other characters to include them in your Warband, but that’s not true.
Warband applies to all characters on your account, not just the ones you see. The four characters displayed are simply your favorites.

Hopefully, this clears up any misconceptions readers might have about Warbands.
