lestian 0 Report post Posted December 1, 2014 Hi, i just was watching icyveins booking guide and i found out booking stats priority was int>mast>mult>haste>crit, but there are some people that says mastery>crit; crit>haste; mastery>haste. Im confused right now and just want to know what i have to stack and where the stack limit is. Thnax

Kazistrasz 216 Report post Posted December 4, 2014 Our class guides were reviewed by Cyous, who uses WrathCalcs (a spreadsheet), which calculates using all sorts of complicated formula what stat priorities should be. The information in my guide is obtained via SimC which I have simulate between several hundred thousand to over a million fights at optimal DPS performance and analyzes them to determine how much stats are worth not only at any given gear level provides a look at what those stat balances will look like moving forwards. Essentially, the class guide is based on theoretical calculations and my guide is based on semi-theoretical/semi-practical simulations. The important thing is that stats are so close, excepting versatility, that it's honestly not worth your time worrying about which stats are the best unless you're doing bleeding edge progression race, at which point you don't need to be reading a guide anyway.

I'd also add that the choices in gear are so few in Highmaul (hint: pick the one without Versatility) that all you really need to know is what to gem/enchant. Kazistrasz 216 Report post Posted December 5, 2014 The difference in gemming and enchanting any of the non-versaility enchants is less than 200 DPS from top to bottom at mythic level gear, and even less at normal or heroic.
