Beta Changes Revealed in ZZZ: Burnice White and Caesar King Receive Major Updates

In the latest 1.2 beta update, exciting adjustments have been made to both unreleased characters: Caesar King and Burnice White alongside their W-Engines as well as patch 1.2's Bangboo and Drive Discs. Read on to check out the buffs and nerfs.

Zenless Zone Zero has beta updates every week although the beta itself is only available on CN servers. Data for this is therefore translated and comes from the site hakush.in with translations provided online. 

Overall both characters had significant buffs. Caesar's however was more on her kit while Burnice's are instead on her W-Engine.

Drive Discs:

  • Original Punk Disc Drive now grants 15% damage not 15% Daze 
  • Chaos Jazz also applies for electric damage not just fire and off-field damage buff has been nerfed by 5% 

 

Caesar King: 

  • General damage buffs to skills 
  • Personal crit rate buff removed
  • Core passive has been buffed to provide better shielding and also a massive 1000 ATK buff. 
  • Significant mindscape changes 

 

Burnice White:

  • Significant buffs to her core passive as well as the initial energy cost being decreased from 40 to 20
  • M1 provides an additional 15% damage when a fire anomaly or disorder effect has been activated

W-Engines: 

  • Caesar's W-Engine now triggers on squad members countering or perfect dodging and not when attacked while having a shield
  • Burnice's W-Engine significantly buffed and provides double stack gain while off-field

      The latest leaks from the beta of Zenless Zone Zero version 1.6 give us a first look at what the new Anby can do!
      For a detailed look at the kit, you can check out the following post:
      Her kit seems rather straight forward: Attack, stack Marks, trigger the Marks. She seems to need a lot of time on-field, so she will not pair well with other greedy on-field Agents. 
      Every time you hit an enemy, Anby will place a Mark on them. When you accumulate 3 on the same enemy, you can use her special attack to trigger a Mark, which should do additional damage.
      She will most likely have to be played paired with Trigger with both Agents being from the same faction.

      The latest leaks around version 1.6 of Zenless Zone Zero have revealed that Pulchra might be available for free through an Event named Panther Express! 
      Pulchra is the first A-Rank agent that has been added in a long time, and it would be appreciated by many players to get her for free! However, this information has to be confirmed first!
      Additionally, we also got a first look at Pulchra's kit thanks to the 1.6 leaks:
      From the looks of it, she may be a very good stun support for the available Physical DPS that we have so far!
