Upcoming Last Epoch Cycle Restart With The Imperial Uprising!

Recommended Posts

Imperial-Uprising.jpg

The Imperial Uprising, a new event in Last Epoch, will launch soon and features a Cycle refresher! Find out what's new and included in this patch!

Last Epoch's Imperial Uprising Cycle event is launching on September 19, 2024, until October 20, 2024, and will kick off with a 20% discount on all editions of Last Epoch!

This event is rather special, as it is a Cycle refresher event! This means all Cycle 1.1 Harbingers of Ruin characters will transition to the Legacy Cycle, giving everyone a fresh start! Ladders and economy will also reset. This event is the continuation of Patch 1.1 - Harbingers of Ruin; it is not Patch 1.2!

You can participate in the Imperial Uprising event simply by killing skeletons. The Last Epoch team will follow the progress closely and may reward players, so keep an eye on their social media!

The Cycle refresh is following the community's request for a reset of the economy, as some players have been exploiting the system and violating the terms of service. This has caused much frustration, and the team behind Last Epoch has decided to refresh the Cycle to give everyone a new start!

The following Cycle-wide event modifiers will also be enabled for everyone, including Legacy and new Cycle characters:

  • Increased Faction Reputation Gain
  • Increased Gold Gain
  • Increased Unique Drop Rates
  • Increased Undead Spawn Rates in Monoliths

Once the month-long event has finished, the cycle will continue, but the modifiers will revert to their original state. The updates will remain, and players’ characters will stay in the cycle until either the next cycle event or patch 1.2.

You will also notice the following additions with the event:

  • Steam Deck Verification & Improvements
  • New and Updated Shrines
  • Quality of Life Improvements to Dungeons
  • Loot Lizard Encounters
  • Stash Tab Priority System
  • Improvements to Bazaar Search
  • Month-Long Event Modifiers

Keep an eye out for the patch notes that will be released on September 17, 2024, as they will cover more information!

Last but not least, you can find the official forum post here to read the announcement in its entirety: Announcing 1.1 Refresh & Cycle Event - The Imperial Uprising

In the current cycle of Last Epoch, Harbingers of Ruin, players have been facing off against Aberroth, the new pinnacle boss. The boss is challenging and has quickly become a benchmark for the most skilled players in the game!
Aberroth is not just any boss; to fight him, players must progress through the Forgotten Knights questline and defeat all 10 Harbingers before attempting the fight. Of course, this makes the journey to Aberroth more difficult, but it also adds to the overall excitement of ultimately reaching the boss battle.
Now, let us take a look at some interesting numbers in regards to Aberroth kills on the current cycle!
      Kill Statistics:
Softcore Mode: Numerous successful Aberroth kills have been recorded. The challenge is even greater on hardcore, with fewer players managing to beat the pinnacle boss. The only 3 Aberroth kills in hardcore so far have been done by Cestarix, Wudijo, and Zlayge!
As players improve their gear and figure out the best strategies for this boss fight, the number of successful Aberroth kills is obviously going to increase. However, for the time being, the pinnacle boss is a true test of skill and dedication within the world of Last Epoch!
