Last Epoch - Details About the Imperial Uprising Event!

The cycle refresh is coming on the 19th September: Take advantage of the Event buffs to progress faster, chase the new Loot Lizards, enjoy the new Shrines, and test the new core game feature!

From September 19th to October 20th, 2024, the Last Epoch Cycle will refresh and the Imperial Uprising Event will begin! During this time, the following buffs will be active on Cycle, Legacy, Online and Offline:

  • +50% More Favor Gain (Added with community feedback)
  • +50% More Reputation Gain
    • As Reputation is gained from earning and spending Favor, this means you will be receiving a total of 125% more Reputation
  • +50% More Gold Drop Rate
  • +50% More Random Unique Drop Rate

During the reset, players will also have the possibility to join forces and kill Skeletons in game to participate in the Imperial Uprising event. All participants will be rewarded! More information on that will be released later on. You will also notice an increase spawn of undead enemies inside of Monoliths, even in those who normally do not have any undead monsters.

The imperial uprising is also introducing Loot Lizards!

These Loot Lizards can be compared to treasure goblins: chase them down and drop their health until they let go of their loot! You can encounter five different types of Lizards: Each one has a different loot pool!

Additionally, 28 new Shrines will make their appearance through Eterra:

  • 15 of them will cast character abilities such as Hammer Throw, Chaos Bolts, Warpath, Shadow Cascade, or Flame Reave
  • New buff Shrines such as Meteors, Phoenix, reduced damage, Rainbow Shrine
  • Loot Lizards Shrine

At the same time as the event, the new core game feature called Stash Tab - Priority will be introduced! This system will allow you to set a priority configuration for any of your tabs in your stash.

In the Stash Tab Priority system, you can define:

  • Item Type (for example, Boots)
    • If only one selected item type, then you can also specify Sub types, such as Citadel Boots
  • Rarity (this is also where you can choose Keys)
    • If you choose Unique, you can also then specify Legendary Potential and/or Weaver’s Will
  • Class Requirement (For example, Mage)
  • Level Requirement
  • Item Faction Requirement

Finally, you will also be able to enjoy a few Bazaar improvements such as:

  • UI Improvements to make navigating and searching items more easy
  • New affix and subtype selection
  • The ability to list an item directly from your stash
  • Favor updating immediately when an item is listed
  • and more!

      If you missed out on some information or teasers for Season 2, here is a recap of everything that was shared by the Last Epoch team during the month of January 2025, and a first look into Season 2!
      With the first month of 20025 coming to an end, the Last Epoch team has released their Eterra Monthly recap for January 2025! Here is a quick run-through of everything that was released or teased during this month!
      January's Hotfixes and changes:
      Two Hotfixes where released in January, one that fixed a minor menu-based UI issue, and another that fixed an issue with low FPS Changes around Character stat sheet entry for Less Damage over Time Taken Fixed the Character Stats UI entries for “Less Damage Taken” and “Less Damage Taken from nearby enemies” Fixed a bug causing the extra spears created from the Divine Fury node or the Sierpin’s Fractal Tree item while the Siege Barrage node was allocated would not be fired from the correct position when cast onto large enemies. Fixed a bug where Smoke Bomb with the Cloaked Incursion node allocated would not visually expand Fixed a bug where closing the Bug Report menu with the Esc key after selecting the input field would result in being unable to control the character until closing the menu with the X button” Mike Twitch Teasers:
      With the upcoming Season 2, the developer has shared various little teasers during his weekly streams:

      New UI sneak peek New inventory tabs and key storage New charms in the form of key rings, but it is unknown what they are really used for  New Quiver  A look into what it is to be a sprite for Hausprix Orian The Monthly recap also showcases community builds and gives us a look into the Last Epoch Team!       Last Epoch - Prepare for a Last Minute Maintenance!

      The Last Epoch Team planned to take the servers offline today for a few hours! Here is everything you need to know!
      A last minute maintenance has been planned for Last Epoch: the servers will be offline today, on Monday January 27, 2025, starting at 10pm CST! 
      The Downtime period will take approximately 6 hours, and an update will be provided once services are restored!

      Every Friday, Last Epoch developer Mike is going live on the Last Epoch Twitch channel  to share some information around the game with the community.
      Last Friday, he revealed some of the requested quality of life upgrade coming with Season 2 this year:

      Last Epoch Community Item Hunts!

      The Last Epoch Community is gathering together for some item hunts! Here is all the information on how to join and what it is about!
      Last Epoch Reddit user u/Winter_Ad_2618 has set up a Last Epoch Hunt Discord, and you can join right now! The discord will be used to gather the last Epoch community together for an Item Hunting Event.
      Players will be able to go on the Hunt for the rarest items, get points, and win! While there is no specific reward for it, it is a simple and fun Event organised by a community member to enjoy time together hunting for items in the game!
