Zenless Zone Zero Lighter Kit Leaks: Abilities, Ultimate, Mindscapes and More

Lighter is a new Fire Stun character releasing in patch 1.3 for Zenless Zone Zero, read about his preliminary beta kit and leak information.

Lighter is the first Stun Agent available from the Sons of Calydon faction but strangely, has mechanics that impact both Fire and Ice. Currently, Lighter buffs Impact, debuffs Ice and Fire Res , buffs Ice and Fire DMG and also increases Stun duration making him have a wide range of uses.

 

Information about Lighter's kit can be found below in this news post or fragments are currently being shared onto the /r/Zenlesszoneleaks_ subreddit. The main source at this moment is the New Eridu News Stand Telegram. Some information about Lighter's Mindscapes does need further clarifaction so keep an eye on this article which will be updated in the future.

Lighter Skills

Normal Attack: L-Style Roaring Fist

Tap or hold to activate:
Perform up to five strikes forward, dealing physical damage and fire attribute damage.
During the activation of the third stage of [Normal Attack], drag the joystick while continuously tapping or holding to continuously trigger the chain technique.
During the execution of this skill, damage taken is reduced by 40%.
During the activation of the third stage of [Normal Attack], release the joystick and tap or hold ( ) to connect to the fourth stage of [Normal Attack].
During the activation of the fifth stage of [Normal Attack], drag the joystick while continuously tapping or holding to loop between the light punch and the fourth stage of [Normal Attack].
During the activation of the fifth stage of [Normal Attack], release the joystick while continuously tapping or holding to trigger a jab combo; maintaining continuous tapping or holding extends the duration of the jab combo.
After stopping the tapping or holding, or when the jab combo reaches its duration limit, execute a finishing blow forward.
During the activation of the third, fourth, and fifth stages of [Normal Attack], Lighter takes 40% less damage.
In the [Morale Eruption] state, the interrupt resistance level during the activation of the fifth stage of [Normal Attack] is increased.

Core Passive: Combustion Agent

Lighter will automatically gain [Morale] over time, 4.8 points per second. For every 1 point of energy consumed by the on-field character, Lighter will recover 0.8 points of [Morale]. Lighter has a maximum of 100 points of [Morale]. When [Morale] recovers to 80 points, if he is off-field, Lighter's [Quick Assist] will be triggered once. When [Morale] is greater than or equal to 80 points, Lighter will enter the [Morale Eruption] state when launching the fifth stage of [Normal Attack], increasing the power of the light punch attack, jab combo and finishing blow in the fifth stage of [Normal Attack]. After the power is increased, when the moves hit the enemy, [Morale] will continue to be consumed. For every 10 points of [Morale] consumed, Lighter's Impact will increase by 1.8%, up to 18%, and lasting for 6 seconds.
In the [Morale Eruption] state, Lighter's [Morale] is no longer automatically gained over time. When [Morale] is exhausted during a light punch attack or jab combo, a more powerful finishing blow will be automatically connected;
In the [Morale Eruption] state, when a light punch attack or jab combo hits an enemy, the target's Ice Attribute DMG RES and Fire Attribute DMG RES are reduced by 15% for 15 seconds;
In the [Morale Eruption] state, when the finishing blow hits an enemy, the [Rout] effect will be applied to the target, increasing the duration of Stun after entering the Stunned state by 3 seconds. Before recovering from the Stunned state, the [Rout] effect can only be triggered once on the same target;
When launching a finishing blow to hit an enemy in the fifth stage of [Normal Attack], switching back off-field or when [Morale] is exhausted, Lighter will exit the [Morale Eruption] state, and the [Morale] that has not been consumed will be retained.

Additional Ability
Triggered when there is a [Attack] character or a character of the same faction:
When Lighter hits the enemy with his attack, the whole team gains a layer of [Uplift], up to 20 layers, lasting 15 seconds, and the duration is refreshed when triggered repeatedly; for each layer of [Uplift], the agent's Ice and Fire DMG increases by 0.5%; when any character in the team enters the field through [Quick Assist], [Perfect Assist] or [Chain Attack], the duration of the whole team's [Uplift] will be refreshed; when Lighter's Impact increases, if Lighter's Impact is higher than 170 points, every 10 points of Impact above will increase the benefic effect provided by each layer of [Uplift] by an additional 0.1%, up to an additional 10.4%.

Different leaks have stated different values for Lighter's Additional Ability.


Quick Assist: Fiery Flash - Guard
When a character in the front row is knocked back, tap ② to activate:
Strike forward against enemies, dealing fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold to directly connect to the fifth stage of [Normal Attack].

Defensive Assist: Instant Break
When a character on-field is knocked back, tap ② to activate:
Strike forward against enemies, dealing fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold to directly connect to the fifth stage of [Normal Attack].

Assist Follow-up: Bone Smash - Stab
After executing [Defensive Assist], tap 4) to activate:
Strike forward against enemies, dealing fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold 4) to directly connect to the fifth stage of [Normal Attack].

Dodge: Shadow Slide
Tap 公 to activate:
A quick dashing evade.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
While attacking, drag the joystick to the side and tap to evade:
Evading sideways does not interrupt the combo of [Normal Attack].
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.

Dash Attack: Bone Smash
While dodging, tap (9 to activate:
Quickly strike forward, dealing physical damage.

Dodge Counter: Fiery Flash
After triggering [Ultimate Dodge], tap 4 to activate:
Strike forward against enemies, dealing fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold (9 to directly connect to the fifth stage of [Normal Attack].

Tap 4 to activate:
Use an uppercut to strike forward, dealing fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, interrupt resistance is increased.
During a side step evade, tap or 4 to activate:
Use a combo punch to strike forward, dealing fire attribute damage.
Using this skill does not interrupt the combo of [Normal Attack].
During the activation of this skill, interrupt resistance is increased.


Ex Special Skill: V-Style Sun Wheel Rising Fist - Full Charge
When energy is sufficient, tap to activate:
Use an uppercut to leap and strike powerfully forward, dealing a large amount of fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, tapping again on 4 will additionally consume energy to trigger a powerful follow-up, dealing a large amount of fire attribute damage.
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold (9 to directly connect to the fourth stage of [Normal Attack].

While performing a side step evade, if energy is sufficient, tap 4 to activate:
Use a combo punch to strike forward powerfully, dealing a large amount of fire attribute damage.
Using this skill does not interrupt the combo of [Normal Attack].
During the activation of this skill, Lighter has invincibility.
After the skill is executed, tap or hold 4) to directly connect to the fifth stage of [Normal Attack].

Lighter Mindscapes

Mindscape 1 : 常胜冠军 (Unbeatable Champion)
When entering combat mode or switching to the on-field, if Lighter's [Morale] is below 50 points, it will be immediately restored to 100 points. This effect can trigger only once every 60 seconds. When applying the [Rout] effect from the [Additional Ability: Fired Up], the target's daze vulnerability multiplier increases by 60%.

Mindscape 2 : 红围巾 (Red Scarf)
In the debuff effects applied by [Additional Ability: Fired Up], the resistance to ice attribute damage and fire attribute damage is additionally reduced by 10%. The [Rout] effect will extend the daze duration by 5 seconds. If [Morale] is exhausted during a light punch initiation or jab combo, it will automatically connect to trigger a powerful finishing blow against the enemy, also triggering [Quick Assist] once.

Mindscape 3 : 佣兵团长 (Mercenary Captain)
Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2

Mindscape 4 : 墨镜 (Sunglasses)
When Lighter is off-field, the energy regeneration efficiency of on-field characters increases by 10%. When Lighter enters the [Morale Eruption] state, it restores 4 points of energy to off-field characters, triggering only once within 15 seconds.

Mindscape 5 : 决策者 (Decision Maker)
Basic Attack, Dodge, Assist, Special Attack, and Chain Attack Lv. +2

Mindscape 6 : 幸存者 (Survivor)
When Lighter lands a heavy hit on enemies using [Normal Attack], [Dodge Counter], [Special Attack], [EX Special Attack], [Quick Support], [Defensive Support], [Chain Attack], or [Ultimate], it will trigger the [Flame Impact] effect, dealing 240% attack as fire attribute damage, triggering only once within 8 seconds. If Lighter's impact exceeds 120 points, for every additional point of impact, the [Flame Impact] multiplier increases by 6%, with a maximum increase of 10%. When Lighter lands a heavy hit on dazed enemies, the cooldown time can be ignored, triggering the [Flame Impact] effect again, but this effect can only trigger once on the same target before recovering from the stagger state.

      For the next couple of weeks, players can take part in Click Click Hollow Reporter,  the latest photo event in Zenless Zone Zero! 
      At first glance, the event might not seem too exciting, but players quickly discovered a hidden gem: once you complete the daily stage, you unlock Hyperfocus Shot, a free photo mode. This lets you freely fight and snap as many action shots as you want, something normally impossible in the game!

      This new mode is a blast, allowing you to capture your most impressive combat moments, or the funniest ones!
      Many players are wishing for this event feature to stay, but it is unclear whether it will become a permanent addition or remain exclusive to special events.

      Since Silver Soldier Anby requires a lot of field time, she seems to work really good with both Trigger and Astra who can both do their job off-field. The only down-point of this team would be the lack of swapping that Astra may usually need. Ss Anby and Trigger's kits can of course still change until they release.
