Is Hoshimi Miyabi Missing in Patch 1.4? What Happened to Her Release?

Zenless Zone Zero players are starting to worry: it looks like Hoshimi Miyabi might not be coming in Patch 1.4 after all.

Yesterday, the official Zenless Zone Zero Twitter account revealed Asaba Harumasa, one of the new characters expected in the upcoming patch.

Normally, this would be followed by the reveal of the second banner character the next day, but instead, Hoyoverse has only showcased Yanagi's new W-Engine today. This lack of a second character announcement is making fans increasingly concerned that Miyabi will be absent from Patch 1.4.

This is especially surprising considering that Hoyoverse has recently been making visual design changes to Miyabi's in-game model as shown in a recent livestream.

It's common for Hoyoverse games to begin rerunning in their 1.4 patches. Honkai Star Rail introduced its first rerun in Patch 1.4 with Seele, and Genshin Impact featured exclusively rerun banners of popular characters Childe and Venti in its own version 1.4. This trend suggests that Zenless Zone Zero may be taking a similar approach, which could mean that a rerun banner is on the way instead of a second new character.

One popular theory circulating among the community is that Ellen Joe might be making her first return in Patch 1.4. If this is the case, it would fit the pattern of reruns seen in other Hoyoverse games. This also raises interesting possibilities for Patch 1.5—if Miyabi debuts then, players could see two Ice DPS characters releasing back-to-back, which might significantly impact team-building and powercreep.

Another idea spreading is simply that Miyabi will instead be announced at a later date, such as after the weekend or in the patch 1.4 livestream itself. Let us know your thoughts!

I read that apparently they do not announce character's on weekends and that Asaba Harumasa was announce earlier than "usual" due to the way the patch cycle would line up. By following their "usual" announcement pattern (And taking this weekend into account) whoever may be the second character to drop in 1.4 would not be announced until AFTER Burnice's banner ends; which would be a bit too odd, so instead they dropped Asaba earlier than usual and should hopefully reveal the next character on Monday so that people still have 1 work-day left to decide on Burnice with the knowledge of who will drop in 1.4

Personally I'd not mind if they did not drop 2 new characters as I'd not want to see ZZZ end up like Genshin; Having a ton of excess characters that kinda has no real home in teams due to there always being "better options" and some characters not having seen re-runs in like a year and a half.

Personally i'd love a slow down on the S-Rank characters and instead use that time to make more A-Rank's. The game has a real lack of them currently which while great for mindscape collecting does mean theres less variety on banners. 

Going the support route like Soukaku would then be ideal as a DPS A-Rank would be not worth it, but Genshin has done really well recently with 4-Stars with the likes of Kuki, Gaming, Chevreuse, Faruzan which are more dedicated to specific setups where they shine.

      Big news coming for Zenless Zone Zero! Here is when and where to watch the Xbox Spotlight stream, and what might be revealed.

      A few days ago, the official Zenless Zone Zero posted about an Xbox Bangboo, that everyone took for an April's fool joke. However, the possibility is now that this Bangboo may actually be an Xbox exclusive! Or it may just have hinted at the upcoming Xbox Spotlight stream:

      New Upcoming Mysterious ZZZ Character!

      Latest Zenless Zone Zero leaks have revealed an upcoming character that may be playable, and remains rather mysterious! Here is everything we know so far!
      This new character that was leaked is supposedly named Dina, and makes a story appearance (during the plot of verison 1.7). So far, there is NO information on her being an actual playable character. As mentioned by Leaker Leifa, usually playable characters are added with an Avatar entry, and there is none for Dina.

      This means she could only be some important NPC, and not more. According to the leaks, while she does appear during the 1.7 main story, it seems we will not see her face. However, you can take a look at her model:

      The monthly Gacha revenue report for March 2025 is here! How has it been for Zenless Zone Zero and other Hoyoverse games this month? Let's find out!
      With the month of March coming to an end, the usual monthly report for Gacha games just released, and we know how the games have been doing during March 2025! 
      As a general reminder, the following revenue chart only provides numbers for mobile platforms. It does not take into account any revenue generated by the PC and Console versions of the games. These numbers are mostly estimations, and are not intended to be taken at face value as definitive revenue figures. With that in mind, let's take a look at the chart for March 2025:

      Sadly, Zenless Zone Zero has dropped massively down, generating only around 15,915,000$. 
      Honkai Star Rail has also not been doing that good this month on mobile, as it generated almost half of last month's revenue, dropping from 45,000,000 to 29,000,000$. 
      Genshin Impact seems to be the only Hoyoverse game that had an increased revenue during March 2025, placing 3rd among all the gacha games. 
      It is hard to know why both Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zero dropped so much. It may be due to players saving up for specific characters, are the game not getting any major update during the month of March.
      Hopefully, things will go back up in April!

      Zenless Zone Zero just released the latest Character Teaser for upcoming Agent Trigger: Testimony of the Blind! You can watch the trailer here:
      This trailer kickstarts the upcoming Phase Two of version 5.6 which will release on April 2nd, 2025 at 12:00:00 (server time). 
      On top of Trigger being the new banner agent, you will also be able to pull for Zhu Yuan who is getting a re-run, as well as the W-Engines for both Trigger and Zhu Yuan. 
      Lucy and Billy will be featured on the banners and have significantly boosted drop rates. 
      Additionally, you will be able to participate in Trigger's new Agent Story called Out of Sight. In order to access this quest, you need to first complete the Main Story: Leisurely Lull: Unexpected new Customer.

      A new event will start on April 2nd as well: Join Corin in her Virtual Battle Storm Event!

      ZZZ Hugo Vlad Latest Mindscape and Damage Changes!

      Similar to Vivian, the latest leaks have revealed some changes that were made to Hugo's kit! Here is everything you need to know!
      Hugo Vlad is an upcoming agent for version 1.7 of the game. Recent 1.7.3 beta leaks have revealed rather massive changes made to his kit, especially with his Mindscapes 4 and 6 which have been fully changed!
      You can take a look at the following Reddit post, which contains all the details of the changes:
      Instead of increasing his damage directly, his M4 now ignores 12% Ice Resistance for 15 seconds if he hits an enemy with a charged shot.
      His M6 receives the biggest change, as it is completely modified. Right now, his M6 gives a massive damage boost.
      If you were planning on investing a lot into Hugo, his M6 can definitely be worth now! If they don't decide to nerf it in the upcoming updates.
      Additionally, Hugo also received some number changes:
      Basic attack charged shot damage: 292.10% is now 342.20% Basic attack charged shot daze: 168.30% is now 197.20% Quick Assist Shot and Charged shot DMG was nerfed down from respectively 324.90% and 424.40% down to 181.40% and 281.40% Quick Assist Shot daze and charged shot daze also got nerfed from respectively 94.30% and 123.40% down to 52.50% and 81.60% Dodge Counter: same as for the Quick assist, both Shot and charged DMG, as well as Shot daze and charged shot daze were nerfed.
