Zenless Zone Zero has dropped Vivian's demo trailer, and it's a heartfelt letter to her favorite Proxie, Lord Phaethon! Here is everything you need to know about the agent, her banner, and more!
The highly anticipated new agent for Zenless Zone Zero Version 1.7 Phase One, Vivian, will officially be available on April 23, 2025. Her banner will run until May 14, 2025, so make sure to grab her while you can!
Vivian is an S-Rank Ether Anomaly agent who is particularly good when paired with other Anomaly characters like Miyabi, Jane Doe, or Yanagi. For support, her best synergy is with Astra, offering both safety and strong boosts.
Like every agent, Vivian received a wonderful animated demo trailer — and you can watch it here:
This trailer takes a personal turn as it's presented as a direct letter from Vivian to Lord Phaethon. The video hints at Vivian's mysterious connection to the Proxies, implying that Phaethon may have helped her in the past — though, until now, she only knew them through the screens. More details might be revealed in the upcoming story chapters, so stay tuned for updates!

Don't miss your final chance to recruit Trigger in Zenless Zone Zero before her banner leaves this week! Get a sneak peek at Vivian, her best teams, and banner details.
It's your last opportunity to pull for Trigger in Zenless Zone Zero before her banner switches out! If you've had your eye on this Stun Electric agent, now is the time to grab her — she won't be back until a future rerun banner!
If you have Soldier 0 Anby, Trigger provides the ideal support. She excels at dealing Aftershock DMG and serves as a reliable off-field stunner who doesn't take away field time from your main DPS agents. On top of that, she's easy to build and doesn't require heavy investment in premium gear to perform well.
The downside? Trigger doesn't slot neatly into every squad — at least for now. Her best setup is, of course, the Aftershock Squad alongside Soldier 0 Anby and Astra Yao. She's also a great off-field support for agents who demand a lot of field time themselves, like Soldier 11 or Anton.
For a full breakdown of her abilities and best build, check out our Trigger guide and builds! And if you are curious where she stands among the rest, take a look at our updated Tier List.
Vivian's Banner Starts This Week
Right after Trigger leaves, it's Vivian's time to shine! She will be joining the Exclusive Channel banner pool in just a few days. Vivian is an Ether Anomaly agent from Mockingbird, and she's Lord Phaethon's number one fan and sworn protector!
Vivian is a beginner-friendly agent who delivers impressive off-field damage. She generates Feather Stacks through multiple sources and, like Trigger, doesn't need premium gear to be effective. Her main drawback is that her Energy can feel a bit restrictive, and without Astra Yao on your team, her gameplay might feel clunky.
Vivian's best teams pair her with Astra Yao and agents like Miyabi, Jane Doe, or Yanagi.

Hoyoverse has officially dropped the highly anticipated trailer for Zenless Zone Zero's upcoming Season 2 — and things are about to get a lot darker! Titled "Through the Miasma of Memories and Evil", this new trailer offers a mix of fun and dark moments, teasing what is in store for Version 2.0.
The trailer reveals mysterious new faces, dangers lurking within the Hollows, and hints at the next major chapter in New Eridu's unfolding story. If you have been waiting for new content and agents to join your squad, this one is for you.
You can watch the trailer here:
The main story will take us to the Waifei Peninsula, a district within the Throne Quarter, located near the Lemnian Hollow. Our Proxies will follow Yi Xuan, the current leader of Yunkui Summit.
Yi Xuan is a Void Hunter-ranked Special Investigator, and one of the key characters of Season 2. She is serving as both a key figure in the main story and our new mentor! Most of our investigation will unfold in Failum Heights, a brand-new outpost.
You can also expect the following content for Season 2:
New Playable Agents: The trailer teases several new playable characters, though Hoyoverse is keeping their details secret for now. Expect Yi Xuan to be among the first new agents available. The trailer also hints at a Panda character, a Wolf-like agent, a smaller character from an unknown race, and a girl with distinct horns and a stinger tail, and much more. While missing from the trailer, we should finally see the long-awaited Idol Faction agents join the roster as well. Terrifying New Foes: Proxies will be in charge of putting an end to the Sacrifice and Bringer incidents. Expect to face off against strange creatures emerging from the Hollows, suggesting tougher endgame battles and possible new combat mechanics. Story Developments: The story also dives deeper into the dark mysteries of the Hollows, Proxies, and New Eridu's hidden past. Could this be the update where we finally learn more about the origins of the Proxies themselves? Beautiful New Locations: The trailer reveals wonderful new zones, this time heavily inspired by Chinese aesthetics. Expect plenty of beautiful new areas to explore. Bangboo Appearances: Keep an eye out for new Bangboo variants joining the story as well! As of now, Hoyoverse has not confirmed an official release date for Version 2.0. However, based on the trailer's timing and previous patch cycles, it is likely to launch within the next few weeks. We will update you as soon as a date is officially announced!

The latest Zenless Zone Zero 1.7 beta has revealed the Polychrome count for F2P and low spender players. Here is what you can expect for the upcoming version!
Since it is often hard to know exactly how many Polychromes are available in a patch, leaker Palito shared an estimate for Zenless Zone Zero version 1.7. You can view the details in the Reddit post linked below:
Keep in mind this is Beta-based data and might be missing some details! It offers a brief overview, and further rewards could be added through other events or promo codes.
F2P players will be able to obtain the following:
11,020 Polychromes 21 Master Tapes 30 Standard Tapes 91 Boopons This amounts to a total of 90 pulls. Compared to version 1.6, this means 10 fewer pulls. Players with the Inter-Knot pass will have a total of 117 pulls, while those with both the pass and the Battle Pass will have 126.
Keep in mind, this is not the exact total, since some details might be missing from the Beta. Those numbers also depend on completing every event and endgame activity. Failing to clear Hollow Zero, Shiyu, or Deadly Assault will result in fewer Polychromes.
