JMC 0 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 Okay, so I have a lvl 91 Druid. I bought the WoD expansion, boosted the Druid and started him as a tank. After I got around to getting to Org I dual spec'd him to feral. Here is my question. After dual spec'ing him to feral I have more damage (1,303-1,438) in normal form and more damage (987-1,090) than I do in cat form (790-872). I am utterly confused as I thought that cat form was DPS and should have better damage than other forms. Was I wrong in this thinking? Thank you in advanced! Paloro 39 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 I have no idea what you are referring to. If you posted a picture, of what you are talking about, I'm sure there is a logical explanation.
Kulia 39 Report post Posted December 6, 2014 I think I understand what you're meaning. That when your in caster form your damage on your character sheet looks higher than when in cat form. But cat form IS the DPS form for ferals, you can't use any of your abilities without being in cat.
Tarazet 144 Report post Posted December 7, 2014 If you're referring to autoattacks, when you're in cat form your autoattack speed is much faster, so the damage per hit is lower. Engage enemies from stealth and hit them with a Rake, then Shred until 5 CP, Ferocious Bite. Even most elites will be dead at that point.
